The Goddess

Macaria walked down the same path she had memorized after many centuries. She looked at the young boy in wonder.
As she had only gotten information on how he died not about his life.
"Excuse me Miss, What is Elysium?" He asked looking up at Macaria trying to ignore all the other sounds around them.
"It's what you call heaven on earth most heroes go there if they had not have many sins" she said as Jason nodded.
"But I have stolen! I've even tried to murder!" Jason said coming to a stop as her eyes widened at the young boy.
"What where the reasons you have stolen?" She asked standing right in front of him eyes filled with curiosity.

Father would have not sent the boy with me ,but then again Uncle Zeus was probably (again) sticking his dick on anything causing a chaos on the world. She thought

"For food" he said breaking her away from her thoughts. "You almost murdered because you where hungry?" She asked as her eyes widened at Jason. He laughed and shook his head. "No! I stole so I could eat and I almost murdered because those scumbags deserved it! Dealing with children and rapists should not just go to jail if they are going to get out and do it again" he said as Macaria let out a breath and smiled.
"Then that is not bad you where doing things for the good of people you are just going with instincts" she said offering him her hand and guided him to the same path.
"So Jason tell me about yourself? And the costume you are wearing? Is it Halloween already?" She asked as she examined the tattered mask.
"It is not a costume it's my uniform and no it is not Halloween" he said ripping the mask from her hands and gave her a glare. "I'm dead does it even matter what I did when I was alive?" He said his blue eyes looking at the floor.
"It feels good to look back and see the things you've accomplished....here let's make a deal I'll tell you things about me and then you tell me about yourself when you feel comfortable I mean I do have to make sure you l
get to Elysium safe" she said making Jason turn towards her and smiled.
"Sure thing, Miss" he said.
"My name is Macaria and I am the goddess of blessed death and hope I make sure people get to Elysium safely and I also have three sisters and two brothers...my father is Hades and my mother is Persephone" she said as Jason's eyes widened at the information he was given.
"Well you win on the best story miss" Jason said his voice dripping with sarcasm.

"Wait so your a goddess? that's soo cool!" he said beaming at her as she chuckled at the small boy.

"How about your story? what does the R in your armor stand for?" Macaria asked  pointing at the bright yellow R at the left of his chest.

"it stands for Robin" Jason said  taking off the button off his chest examining  where there used to be a tracking device. Macaria's brown eyes  stared at him in realization as her long curly hair floated around both of them.

"the bird? isn't your mentor a bat?" she asked recalling the one time she was in gotham doing her job with Thanatos and saw a small boy in a bright yellow cape along with a bigger figure behind him dressed in black with bat ears. She remembered facing Thanatos and laughed at how funny the costume looked.

Jason nodded a proud look on his face came up at the mention of Bruce. "Well that balances out the darkness and light in Gotham's heroes" she said smiling down at him. Macaria looked up seeing that they were close to the fields. She smiled down at the small boy obviously one of  the younger heroes there is in Elysium being near the age of the other demigods by a few years.
"Will I be safe? Will I need money? Or is there going to be enough food?" Jason asked in a shaky voice as he saw how beautiful the view was. He turned to Macaria with a doubtful face.

"Jason do not worry you will be safe here...no you will not need money and you will also have food with you" Macaria said reassuring him of the place he was going to spend.

"I will also come and visit you daily Jason don't worry you will absolutely adore it here" she said showing him the place he was going to stay.
Jason smiled at the place at it was similar to Bruce Wayne's manor.
"I have to leave Jason. I have to get back to my job I'll come tomorrow and see how you are doing" she said as he nodded happily and hugged her.

Macaria was soon back at the palace finding Thanatos patiently waiting for her.
"My lady" he said bowing down at the princess of the underworld.
"Thanatos" she said smiling at him warmly as he stood straight.
"Is father back? You know it's the beginning of September and my mother usually comes around this time" she said excitement shone in her eyes at the arrival of her mother.

Thanatos red eyes shone with admiration towards Macaria as she started to ramble about her parents.
"No, My lady but I do know that your mother will be arriving shortly" Thanatos said as she quickly hugged Death and squealed. " I'll get Zagreus and you'll get Melinoe so we can decorate and water her plants! Oh she will be so happy!" She said running towards her older brothers room.
Thanatos chuckled as he turned the other way and proceeded to deliver the news to the other princess.
"Lady Melinoe, Lady Macaria is in need of your help do decorate for your mothers arrival" Thanatos said knocking on the door.
"Of course she wants to decorate for mother's arrival when we literally have more than a thousand souls working here for us not for them to freely roam our palace" She said her dark long hair floating around as her black eyes stared at Thanatos.
He smiled mockingly at her
"It's the thought that counts Lady Melinoe now if you excuse me I do wish to see Lady Persephone before Lord Hades comes and takes her away for the rest of the six months" he said extending his black silk wings as he took off towards the throne room.
