"What's with her hair and the eyes? Are those contacts?" A girl spoke in a hushed voice as she talked to her friend. I lowered my head, covering my face with my hair while I quickly scurried along the hallway of the school, clutching my textbooks closer to my chest.

"Don't get near her, she's a creep." I heard her reply just as quietly. Squeezing my eyes shut, I entered the empty bathroom and sighed, setting my items on the counter.

It wasn't my fault that I had this kind of appearance. It must've been something in my ancestor's genes. Looking into the mirror, I saw golden eyes staring back at me. I had a really pale, chalk-white complexion and no matter how much I stayed in the sun, I couldn't get tan.

My hair was completely white, almost matching my skin tone and as the strands neared to the end, it slowly changed from white to gold. It was odd really, considering that I've never used any products that mentioned having your hair as white as your face.

I snatched up my books again just as the harsh grinding sound of the Dismissal Bell rang. I hurried out of the school and went to my small, black Honda Fit. Sliding into the driver's seat, I waited for my sister to come out with her normal batch of populars.

After the usual waiting time of 30 minutes, the group of 6 came out. 3 girls and 3 guys. I averted my eyes as I saw my younger sister start french kissing her boyfriend while her friends did the same. I shivered in disgust. After watching the pairs kiss like there was no tomorrow for 5 minutes straight, I literally whacked my horn, its song blaring loudly into the open parking lot.

They all jumped and I let go with a small, satisfied smile. Honestly, I was timid and shy, but I could be insistent and impatient if I wanted to. I saw my sister smiling apotogetically at her friends before running over.

Once she sat her pretty little butt down on the passengers seat and put on her seat belt, I drove out of the school parking lot. "Why did you do that, Sanjna?" My sister grunted several moments after I pulled onto the freeway.

"Thea. . ." I sighed, pulling my sleeves over my hands. "You know why. . ." I muttered.

She snorted and looked out the window. "Get a life."

I already have one. I remarked in my head.

-------------------------------

"We're home, mother." I called softly.

"Home at last!" Thea whooped as she raced upstairs to text her boyfriend immediately.

My mother came out of the kitchen with a weary smile. "Welcome Back, Sanjna. How was school?" She asked as I placed my messenger bag gently on a chair near the door. Following her into the kitchen, I sat on the island counter, looking down at my hands.

"The same. . ." I muttered.

My mom placed a glass of cold juice beside me before she leaned against the counter, eyeing my face keenly. "Sanjna. . . Don't listen to what other people tell you, alright? No matter what they say, you'll always be my precious baby girl."

Her warm, comforting arms wrapped around me and I leaned into her embrace. My mother was the best in the world. Whistling from the stove forced my mom to let go of me. "Oh no! I'll burn the food!"

Smiling softly as my mom rushed around, I took to glass of juice and walked to the living room where Terra, our white Samoyed was resting near the fire. She lifted her head when I came in and I smiled. "Hey girl," I cooed, walking over and kneeling next to her, running my hand through her soft white fur.

Terra grunted in acknowledgement. I smiled, taking a small sip of my juice. Eventually, though, I left, troubled with my thoughts as usual.

When I had hit puberty at the age of 12, 6 years ago, I had started developing strange abilities. The ability to actually understand any living creature and even heal any kind of injury. When I had cut myself with a glass shard when I was 16, the cut slowly sewed itself back together.

Partially terrified and partially fascinated, I had kept away from anything that had the chance to actually hurt me. I literally avoided sharp stuff as if it were the plague. "Dinner's ready!" My mom called as the front door opened and the familiar stomping told me that it was my dad.

"Ahh, those days where I come home and food is ready." My dad, a 6'5, soft-hearted, man grinned as he came into the kitchen.

"Welcome home, Henry." My mom smiled as she placed down a dish at the table. My dad went over to her and placed a chaste kiss on my mom's cheek.

"Thank you Anne."

"Ugh, I was in the middle of a call." Thea groaned as she came downstairs sullenly. I resisted the urge to actually roll my eyes. My sister always called her boyfriend every single minute. Thank God that there was no school tomorrow.

"Let's eat, I'm hungry!" My dad hollered good-naturedly as he sat down.

My mom, Thea and I sat down as well and dug in.

-------------------------------

"Mom, I'm off to work." I called as I opened the door. Today I would be taking the subway for once, it wouldn't pollute the air as much as a car would. Shutting the door behind me and locking it with my keys, I started down the sidewalk to the station.

I worked at a small restaurant near an Auction House, honestly, all the buyers and bidders or whatever those people are called give me a hard time whenever they come to eat after a long Auction.

Unenthusiastically swiping my card, I sighed and walked to the platform and waited for the train. It wasn't that I didn't want my job, I'd do anything to help my mom and dad with their money problems. It was just the fact that people always stare at me weirdly.

The car came and it opened its doors with a small creak, signifying how old it was. Stepping onto it and finding an empty seat, I sat down, knowing that the distance was long.

-------------------------------

I trained hard.

Sweat stuck to my body.

The blade slicing through imaginary enemies.

This is for her, I kept on telling myself as I mastered every single weapon on the earth. For centuries, I have wandered the lands, wondering about humanity and the magical beings. I have seen war, where the humans fight each other out of greed.

I have come to the conclusion that the humans must be destroyed, for they will destroy themselves eventually. I have decided to awaken the Golden Army once more.

Shortening my favorite magical weapon, the Spear, I held it in my hand as I caught my breath. A train car roared past me, intensifying my hate. The humans had been polluting the air, making it harder to breathe, harder to find natural forests. I looked up at this particular train and watched as it screeched to a halt and the horrible humans exit.

I turned my head but as I did, I saw a flash of white hair tipped with golden at the end. My eyes immediately searched crowd. Was my sister here? No, she couldn't be. I would have felt her.

Pondering this new discovery, I didn't notice my friend, Mr. Wink, until I heard him snarl. I looked over at the troll with a smirk, the thoughts of another elf disappearing from my mind as if it were never there. "I was wondering when you would get here."

Motioning to two boxes in the corner with the Royal Family seal on them, I smiled maliciously. "I have them, they arrived yesterday. I haven't fed them," I could feel my eyes dilating. "at all."

Mr. Wink grunted, as if approving. I smiled, resting my spear against my bare shoulder. I never wore any tops while I trained, for it would only hinder my movements. "I will go up first, you will follow. Remember, Mr. Wink," I murmured, looking in the general direction up.

"Don't be shy." I whispered.

Mr. Wink huffed and puffed, before letting out an ear-splitting roar as a battle cry.

Well I decided to update twice. I'm just so excited! :D
