(This whole chapter should be better than the previous, that was just a prologue sorta, it was really just there so you could understand where you are in the Marvel universe. Cause who wants to be just a normal human? But yeah, heres something better written for ya, not the most exciting but we’re getting there!)

Tony Stark:

You had been pacing beside your door for what seemed like days waiting for Fury and Coulson, until they finally came to your quarters ready to take you to the outside world. They had told you that you wouldn’t be exactly welcomed kindly if you wore your usual pajama pants and tank top, so you were currently bouncing off the walls in a cramped elevator in an old SHIELD uniform that was a bit too big for you. All that didn’t matter to you at the moment, since you were two floors away from a forbidden world. Well it was forbidden until today, but it was still the same. As your mind raced with all the wonders of what awaited you outside in this magical world called Manhattan, the doors opened and Fury allowed Phil to usher you through a very crowded room towards a large desk. While he discussed your day’s coming whereabouts with the secretary, he neglected to notice the billionaire who had been flirting with said secretary, and was now listening intently as Phil told the woman what he had planned for your first day of freedom.

“Tourist traps, Phil?” Tony stepped in and Phil smiled coldly at him as he normally did, “Her first day outside this building, and you’re taking her to tourist traps?”

“That was the plan, Mr. Stark, and our city’s greatest monuments aren’t what I would call ‘tourist traps’,” Agent Coulson kept his cool in almost every situation, even when it included arguing about petty things with Tony Stark. You on the other hand were mesmerized that someone would actually stand up to Phil Coulson, the man who was basically a father figure to you, and not the warm fuzzy type, the do-what-I-say-or-pain-follows type.

“This simply won’t do,” Tony said in a tone that made Phil cringe. Tony casually made his way around Phil, standing next to you while smoothly fitting one arm around your waste.

“A moment like this deserves only the nicest of our city’s monuments, and I will be the one to show this young woman around,” and with that, Tony did a mocking curtsy at Coulson before dragging you out of the building with a smirk.

Phil sighed and leaned on the desk by the secretary.

“I feel like I made a mistake…” she simply nodded her agreement.

Steve Rodgers:

You had been sitting at the same table, in the same room, doing the same thing for the past twelve hours. Interrogations sucked. Especially when you already said what they wanted, they just didn’t believe a word you said. At this time, you were pretty drained, sitting face down, just waiting for the next person to come yell in your face for three hours.

“Miss. (L/N)?” you looked up and almost couldn’t believe who stood in front of you. The actual real Captain America. You would’ve been more excited had you not been handcuffed to your chair, or had you not been handcuffed to that chair since the previous night.

“You’re Steve Rodgers, like Captain America,” you placed your cheek in your palm calmly, too tired to really do anything else.
