Gary set out towards the great beyond of the desert. He didn't know where he was going but to him, it felt like he knew exactly where he was heading. He soon got tired, making It extremely hard to walk. That was when he suddenly fell to the ground, falling asleep very quickly.

The sun soon rose over the horizon as Gary slowly opened his eyes. Standing up, Gary looked around and noticed that he was near a water hole. There were several animals drinking the water, all talking with each other. He felt left out but at the same time, he felt relieved that he wasn't being made fun of for his neck.

Gary didn't know if he should just walk up to somebody and hope they would talk to him and not make fun of him or just walk away. He finally decided he would walk over to the waterhole and drink some of the water to fit in with everybody else.

A zebra noticed Gary from the corner of her eye, walking over to him. Gary looked at the zebra, a small small on his lips. As the zebra walked over, his smile slowly disappeared and became a look of surprise. What had Gary seen that surprised him so much?

The zebra had no neck!
