Did I hear that right? Did she just call me... cute?
My cheeks, once again, flushed hotly. I was thoroughly embarrassed.
"I'm n-not cute!" I meekly shouted back.
Wendy looked surprised. "Oh my gosh, I am sorry. I didn't mean to say that out loud!" Now she was blushing a little, too.
She was the cute one, not me. Of course, I didn't say that. Instead, I looked around. That was when I realized I had made a scene. Everyone was staring... including Bill.
Uh oh... I was going to pay for this later.
I paled. My blush had run cold and I scurried away. I could tell Wendy stared at my retreating form, as there was a burning sensation onto back.
I glanced back and saw that Bill, too, was staring at me. I could sense his malicious intent from all the way over here. It sent shivers down my spine and my toes tingled.
I shoved my way through the crowd that had gathered. Who cares about not bumping into anyone anymore, I needed to go.
I arrived at my locker and, with haste, gathered necessities for the first half of the day.
First period was English 2 AP. With that in mind, I scurried to my class. Bill didn't pop out of anywhere, so that was good. I was saved until lunch. I just had to last the rest of the day avoiding him.
I sat down in my seat and waited for class to start. I always got here early, so, as usual, I had to wait for about 10 to 15 minutes before even the first bell rang.
"Oh, hello. How are you this morning Dipper?" The English teacher asked. She was one of the nicest teachers I had ever had. I don't think I would have made it here without her.
"Good morning. I'm fine, and you?"
"I'm doing well too. Good- good. Today we will go over what was for homework, okay?"
"Yeah, 'kay."
We were currently reading "Night" by Elie Wiesel. We had just started, so I was still at the beginning.
"Hey."
I froze. I didn't look up from the desk I was at.
It couldn't be. She wasn't in my class.
"Hello there Mrs. Frias. My dad finally got my old teacher to transfer me here, so here I am."
"Oh good. You'll do well in this class. It shows in your grade. We started reading yesterday, Night. You'll just have to catch up. It's fine though."
"Okay."
I heard foot falls come in my direction. Oh deer. She was walking my way. I put my hands around my head nervously, and pretended to sleep.
"Oh, hey. Your that dude from earlier."
Defeated; I felt utterly defeated. With a sigh, I lifted my head up and look at Wendy. She stood, in all her glory, just in front of my desk which was at the back... in the corner... across from the door...
Slightly befuddled as to why she walked all the way here, I looked at her. She was wearing a blue flannel shirt with light grey and green lines.
She sat down... next to me. She sat in the desk right next to me. I blushed. Curse my girly blushes!
"Yeah... again, sorry about earlier." My red checked deepened a shade when I remembered falling on her. So embarrassing!
"It's cool man. Nothing wrong with that."
She was so nice. I smiled. Of course, it was to myself. Heaven knows I would be in for a beating if anyone saw me happy at school. I don't know why. I guess I was just the perfect target for bullies...
Oh well, no point in dwelling. It almost time for class to start.

I was fuming. I was livid. I was furious, enraged, raving! Dipper would pay! He would pay dearly. He was only supposed to be paying attention to me. Only me... and maybe Robin, too. But only because I can't really stop her from bullying him.
"Bill. Class is about to start. Come on."
I glared at my buddy. He wasn't even phased. I grunted and followed him to his class.
Dipper was going to pay. His eyes should only be on me.
