Chapter 3: Part 1.

"And, that's how I and Maddox became mortal enemies." "You poor thing," The girl caressed his back. "I'm Lyra, Maddox's master of security." "He sent you here didn't he?" Aquino turns his head, looking at her sternly. "No, I came here because of my own free will." "Pft," Aquino smirks, looking the other way. "Listen Aquino, there's something to tell you." "Go on.", Aquino smirks again.

"I -" The door opens. A man in a suit was standing there. "Lyra, you are requested at Room 657." Lyra nods, and proceeds to leave the room. She looks over her shoulder, a tear formed in her eye. Aquino showed nothing but annoyance. The door stays open for a while, meanwhile Aquino thinks: "If Maddox built this dedicated to medicine, then what are they up to?" The door closes, but Aquino rolls under it before it shuts. He puts on his beanie, and proceeds to follow Lyra, carefully and quietly.

(Okay, so basically what Aquino is wearing are running trousers, a T - shirt, and a beanie.)

Aquino follows them into a large hallway, filled with doors. They enter the one the mysterious man mentioned. Aquino squints his eyes, thinking of a way to get into the door. "It obviously needs a card. Where am I -" Something touches Aquino's neck. "You're not supposed to be here." A voice said behind him. "Okay .. I'm leaving." Aquino says, immediately leaving. "AND GET TO SLEEP! ITS PAST YOUR BEDTIME!" The voice yells again. Aquino didn't see who it was, so he just assumed it was a guard.

Aquino gets back into his room, he takes off his shoes, beanie and shirt. "Nothing else to wear." Aquino gets into the comfy - looking bed. Surprisingly it was comfy, better than his bed back at Hiltmen. Aquino lays on his back, staring at the roof. Dozing off to sleep. . . . .

/ 5:59 AM / MAPMAKER FOREST MEDICAL FACILITY /

There was a loud bang - bang - bang on the door. Aquino immediately awakes, he sits up. "WAKEY WAKEY!" A voice outside the door yells. "OKAY!" Aquino yells back, annoyed. He hops out of bed, putting on the same T - Shirt. He puts on his shoes, and walks out. "Cafeteria's down the hall." A guard says. Aquino nods, walking down the hall. A lot of people were sitting there. Some looked at Aquino, some carried on with their business. Aquino swallows a lump down his throat, and walks to the cafeteria lady. "What do you have?" "Is' breakfast! Take whatcha want!" The lady says. "Ooookay." Aquino does so, choosing the things that didn't look like slop. "Primary school in a nutshell." Aquino Mumbles under his breath.

He sits down, and looks at his plate. He takes the sandwhich first, and bites into it. "Cheese and tomato, nice." Aquino goes for another bite, but is interrupted by someone. "Hi..!" It was Lyra. Aquino puts his sandwhich down. "Hey." "So, I brought you something .." Lyra takes something out of her pocket. It was a chocolate bar. "What's this for?" "I just thought about you when I saw it ..", Lyra blushes. "Thanks." Aquino takes the bar, Lyra sits down beside him. "Lyra, about last night. I'm sorry." "It's fine," Lyra kisses his cheek. "I have to go, Maddox needs me." "O-Okay." Aquino stutters, nods. Lyra leaves, and Aquino turns as red as a tomato.

"Unexpected ..." Aquino laughs to himself. Aquino goes for another bite of his sandwhich. But something suddenly came to his mind. A guard walked into the restroom, gets up. He follows him into the restroom. When he enters, a card is laying on the counter where the sinks are. Aquino snaps his fingers. "Hello?" A deep voice is heard from a stall. Aquino quickly grabs the card, and leaves stuffing into his pocket.

He hurries to his room, stopping in front of the door. "Room 423." Aquino says. He enters, and grabs the waterproof locker, opening it. He takes the pistol and the path finder. "I hope the pilot's okay." Aquino is reminded of what happened.

Aquino pulls back the pistol's top. "What are you hiding Maddox?"
