Chapter 3: Part 3.

/ 6:54 PM / LOCATION : UNKNOWN. /

Aquino and Lyra sit in the helicopter, looking at floor. "We're goin' back to Beltsidar." The pilot says from the cockpit. "Great!" Lyra says, happily. Aquino says nothing. "Aquino? What's wrong?" "It's just that ... I went on a journey to the gates of the Mara." "Oh really?" Lyra says interested. Aquino nods, "Luckily we're going back to Beltsidar, do you .. have any special weapons?" Lyra asks. "Yeah, Pneumatic fists and a spear." Lyra gasps, "PNEUMO FISTS?!" The pilot looks back at them. Lyra clears her throat. "Pneumo fists?" Aquino nods. "They must've cost a a fortune. Aquino shakes his head. "I earned them. I earned in them in combat training at Hiltmen University." "Did you earn the spear too?" Lyra asks. Aquino nods. "Wow, you must be .. very skilled in combat..!" Lyra giggles. Aquino shrugs, "I just did what my Sensei told me."

"What can you tell me about Hiltmen?" Lyra asks. "Well, it was the first year, and we did High - jumping."

( Scene of first year )

"ALRIGHT! LISTEN UP!" Sensei says. "YOU GUYS GOTTA HIGH - JUMP, FROM THIS PLATFROM, TO UP THERE!" Sensei points to a platform, 15 feet high in the air." Aquino (Looking very young) curls up his shoulder, nervous. "Let Serene show you how it's done." Sensei calls Serene out forward. She climbs onto the platform, what she does looked impossible. She did a wall run, UPWARDS! And reached the platform like it was nothing. "Oh, and by the way. You all got a number a' seconds to do this." Sensei shows his stopwatch. "Let the new boy go first!" Someone from the class yells. Aquino's face turns red. Sensei flicks his head, signalling Aquino to the platform. Aquino walks toward it, and climbs onto it.

Aquino starts coil up, and does a very fast wall run, he does a tic tact on the other wall, and leaps for the platform, He grabs the ledge, and pulls himself up. "Very nice kid, BUT FASTER!" Sensei yells from down below. "Not bad .." Serene walks up to Aquino. "Heh, It's something I taughted - UH learnt .. from Yssie." "Nice," Serence punches Aquino's shoulder playfully. Aquino blushes, watching Serene walk away.

/ 3:45 AM / HILTMEN UNIVERSITY OF COMBAT /

Aquino gets up out of bed, walks to his closet. He grabs his gloves, and running outfit. He puts it on, and quietly makes his way to the courtyard, outside the dormitories building. He steps out onto the courtyard. He makes his way to the high - jump course. He takes a deep breath. He takes his phone, (Before projected phone screens were invented) and starts a stopwatch. He does what he did today, but a little faster. The stopwatch stops. "FOUR POINT FIVE SECONDS." The phone says. "Dang it." Aquino tries again, and again, and again.

Meanwhile, Serene was watching him from her balcony. "*Sigh*, look at him .. trying so hard. I know he's doing it for me. He likes me, I know it." Serene chuckles to herself.

( End of flashback )

"And from there on, I graduated combat and parkour." "Wow ..." Lyra says. "Yeah, Hiltmen is a great place. But I haven't graduated chemistry and other things. So yeah." "Yeah, well it'll a few days 'till Beltsidar, I'm gonna get some sleep." Lyra says, heading to the back compartment of the helicopter. "Okay, yeah." Aquino nods. He sits back, resting his head back. And dozes off to sleep . . . .
