Dear Diary,
When I woke up my mom was sitting on a chair next to the bed. Dad was on the couch with Elissa next to him. Jessica was on the other side of Elissa and Levi was sitting on Elissa's lap.
"Morning honey," my mom greeted.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Honey you broke your arm because of the accident" my mother told me everything that night. As she told it I started to remember bits and pieces.
"How could you both be so irresponsible?" my dad asked looking at my mother and me.
"Hey!" Elissa yelled, "McKenna saves Jessica's life! Okay? So leave my sister alone before you regret it! And at least she only broke her arm. Do you even care about us?" Elissa asked our dad, she looked him in the eyes. When he looked away she got up and moved next to our mom, with Levi following her.
"Please not now," our mom said.
"We will talk about it later," my dad said.
"Meet you at home?" our mom asked.
"Sure,"
"Bring the kids with you, I'm going to stay here with McKenna, if that's okay,"
"Mom please don't make me leave. I want to stay here," Elissa said. She looked at our dad and at the floor. A tear came down her cheek. I moved my right arm slowly our for her to take.
"Please Mom?" She asked again holding my hand. I looked at our mom too.
"Okay, you can stay," Elissa started to smile and she pulled up and extra chair next to my bed. The other left to go home.

My mom and Elissa stayed with me all night. They brought me breakfast in the morning which I didn't eat. I wasn't hungry. My left arm was in a cast and it felt weird. I knew it would be a challenge at school. I wouldn't be able to write or type as fast. I wouldn't be able to play my piano every night.
