The sky was a vibrant blue and the air crisp. It seemed to be a normal day to me as I made my way back home. Soon I crossed a turn, but as clumsy as I was I tripped down the side walk. Getting up, I let out a short grunt and brushed my pants to rid it of loose rocks and such that clung to the denim.
"Hey Caroline!" Called my friend, Frier, who seemed to flail her arms as she ran towards me. "Hey" I responded waving my hands in a strange motion. "So, are you doing anything this weekend?" Her voice seemed to have a bored yet excited tonage, but looking at her facial features it just showed pure happiness. "Nope, no plans" I told her trying to sound as happy as possible. "Great!" She clapped her hands together, "To your house it is" A great smile shown on her face brightly.
Rolling my eyes slightly I chuckled, then nodded, motioning my head towards the house. We made our way down the sidewalk with me half limping. In just a few minutes, Frier nudged me causing me to collapse, "Oops" She shrugged guiltily. I simply gave a grunt but it was soon followed by a sigh of relief as she told me that the house was close by. Finally, I get to sit down on a couch rather than the side of the street...
Running into my house the scent of lavender soothed me to butter just in time as I flopped onto the couch. "At laaast!" I felt so relieved as I felt the stinging pain of the cuts flowing away as they sunk into the thick cushions. Glacing over towards Frier I saw her roll her eyes, "Such a cry baby, we just walked a few bus stops more than usual." She spoke in her plain old teasing tone.
Grabbing a cup that someone left out and a wooden stick, I clinged the two together, "Maim, can you please give me some bandages?" I asked Frier in a british accent. Frier played along and bowed, "Yes my lady" She responded and left coming back with the metal first aid kit. She usually grabbed the plastic and just as I suspected she had a plan. Frier acted as if she tripped and flung the metal aid kit onto my lap, "Ehhh" I groaned dramatically, making the wave with my arms towards her.
Sticking her tongue out Frier crossed her arms. "My lady" She taunted a bow, I stuck my own tongue back at her in the same sort of expression. Frier laughed and pointed to the back door, "Want to go outside?" She suggested showing a cheesey smile. I nodded and skipped with her, following me, mimicking my movements.
