Chapter 5

Feeling Bicker's teeth clamping on the back of my neck he continued to nudge Tyra and I as if we were prisoners. Turning back every now and then we snapped at him, considering it's not the most fantastic thing in the world to be dragged along the ground.

Bicker grunted as we arrived to a mansion, "You're free to stand up now" He murmured seeming to like the thought of giving orders. Letting out a laugh we clenched our maw upon his leg, thrusting our body upwards we were able to strike his side. With this he fumbled to the ground, "You're now free to stand up" We repeated, half laughing.

Looking to us he reminded me of the grumpy cat from one of those icons 'Row row two your- no' Releasing themselves free from each other's bond, Ryuu and Kage separated into two living creatures. Tyra and I both shook our head not being so keen on watching unpleasant sights.

Ryuu motioned to us in a way that looked like a swimming frog before I realized he was telling us to separate. With that, Tyra and I both relaxed guessing that was the best way to separate. We were correct and I'd have to admit, it was rather difficult gathering my human legs again. Looking to Tyra I laughed, once again it took the same effect on Tyra. 'Eh, I guess you had more control than I' She laughed towards me in mind link, I returned the favor with a silent giggle.

After all of that, I felt a nudge on my back. It was Shadow, it seemed he wasn't going to be seperating anytime soon, "Go inside, Ryuu will show you two around." He said towards Frier and I. I guess she had seperated when I wasn't looking. Instinctively, I turned to Ryuu before batting the back of his head once. "Alright, let's go ahead" Frier and I spoke in our own sync.

Ryuu stubbornly growled at us through Kage before he motioned his hand, "Come on ladies" he spoke over his shoulder. This was my turn to growl, of course I was never fond of being called a lady. Frier laughed before nudging my arm with the back of her hand, then walking after Ryuu. I grunted as I rested my head on crossed arms, following the leader.

Looking around I felt as I was in awe. Turning around I come to see the back of the entrance brightly red cushioned and beautifully patterened with buttons and other fabrics. Further on, the floors had a very glossy texture to it seeming to be some sort of wood. Looking towards the stairs, the posts that relieved you from falling was a beautifully designed metal that was covered in black. As the floor of the stair case was drapped in a red velvet carpet. All the walls had a bright white color, and lastly the curtains were pretty much like ordinary curtains, simply black.

Admiring the beauty of the home it was interupted by a sharp snap, "Aye!" I knew at that moment, Ryuu's voice, he crossed his arms looking at Frier and I, "You'll have plenty of time admiring more of this later" He half growled and half grunted. Opening a door he led us to a kitchen. It had the same basic coloring as the enterance did but the flooring had, 2x2 inch, white tiles. Looking sharply at the fridge I dashed over looking limp as I pointed towards it. This was obviously my way of asking for food when I'm tired, or bored. At that moment Ryuu and Frier had smiles crossing their faces, but soon enough, they bursted out laughing. Laughing along I leaned against the fridge propping my hand atop my chest.

After all of that was finished I had a banana from the fridge. As I began to eat it, I winced. I was one to love cold weather, just not many cold foods. Frier had some of the orange colored cheese and gladly ate it. While Ryuu leaned back in a chair nearby. Poking Frier, I pointed to the cheese, "How the heck do you like that kind of cheese?" I asked her with a smile on my face. She shrugged, "It's good! I don't know how you don't like it!" She spoke to me presenting the cheese a foot away from my face. Swatting at it I was sure that I didn't actually knock it to the ground. "Eh" I pointed my hands towards her and made a wave motion with my hands alone.

Hearing some chuckles I turned to see Ryuu smiling, "What the heck was that?" He asked naturally giving his eyebrows a vertical look to it. Shrugging innocently I raised my hands as if I were a waitress carrying drinks on plates. "I'm weird, ok?" I smiled towards him half laughing. Ryuu returned the favor with a laugh, "I could tell" He said and patted my head after getting Frier's head ruffled. Frier flipped her hair back and grunted, "Ow, you tugged on it too much!" She growled, you could hear the rumbling boom from Zeri. Ryuu leaned downward and patted her head gently. "Aw, did I hurt little ol' you?" He grinned, but quickly it turnned into a stubborn look as I batted the back of his head.

Turning around Ryuu motioned his hand, "Come on ya goofs" He chuckled before stopping to a studden halt. "Eh, tour's canceled" He sighed and ran out, Frier and I quickly followed after him. As we were outside, my senses felt doubled somehow. 'We're now in pack link' Shadow's voice seemed to boom through my head, 'What's happening?" Frier asked him with a stern tone to it. 'Hush, listen!' Ryuu snapped quickly. 'Shadow we have to go!' It was one of the other roks. 'Let's go, fuse with your companions, everyone.' Shadow ordered, I was surprised to hear his voice so calm.

Just as Tyra and I fused, my sensed doubled once again. I rubbed my head against a tree, the voices were so loud! Wait, voices? Just as I calmed myself a bit I continued to struggle to hear what they're saying. Just as I understood, I growled at a silent tone, 'Let's get out of here, we won't be safe' I immediately felt as instincts kicked in. The voices were saying, "Kill them! Kill them all!"
