Chapter 4: Zoo Trip

When we got to the park, the boys were waiting by the fountain. Almost as soon as Marionette saw Adrian she turned super red, stumbling over her words.

"Dont know you here going. I mean you here did know not." She struggled nervously.

I sighed and shook my head "she means, she didn't know you were going to be here. I didn't tell them because it was going to be a surprise."

Marionette nodded while staring at Adrian.

"That's ok, I understand. Should we go now?" Adrian answered nicely with a smile."

We all nodded, heading towards the zoo. When we go there we all hung out and watched the animals.

After about 2 hours of the zoo, we were watching the lions playing with the cubs. When we all heard screaming, rushing a water.... and laughing?

Adrian looked back and forth between all of us, then ran to check it out. Naturally we all followed. Shocked, we spot a pair of kids on a building, a brother and sister it looks like, one was wearing a colorful dress with drawings of soda on it, the boy was wearing colorful clothes, but with a cotton candy hat. They were melting buildings into soda, or turning them to candy. Trapping people in soda bottles.

Marionette just disappeared.

"What is this?" The girl yelled as I ran up and leapt, pulling her from her perch.

I grabbed the snack flier ripping it to shreads. Something made me feel like I need to catch the Akuma.

"What happened?" The girl questioned holding her head.

"You're ok now, but I have to go." Quickly I left and returned to Chat and Ladybug where they had just purified the Akuma. "Hey guys, I got you a present." I smile as I open my hands relieving the Akuma.

"No more evil doing for you little Akuma." Ladybug took the akuma into her yoyo as it tried to fly away, releasing a white butterfly. "Bye bye little butterfly."

Smiling I look at the two, "are work is done?"

"Yep." Chat bowed as his ring beeped "I have to go, see you both soon." With that he ran off.

"I have to go too." Ladybug responded using her yoyo to leave.

Sighing I feel the pain in my ankle return as I limp into the bathroom. "Cover fangs," and my whole suit turned back into my normal clothes.

"So hungry!" Sarynn cried as he landed in my hand.

"I'll get you food." I whisper returning him to my (F/C) penny bag.

I limped back to the group, where I saw everyone. "(N/N) why are you limping?!" Connor yelled as he ran up.

"Dude, you should sit, we need to look at that ankle." Nino gently made me sit on the bench.

Alya rolled up my pants showing a red, swollen ankle, "it looks sprained."

"(Y/N) how did it happen?" Marionette looks almost like she feels guilty for some reason.

"Well I umm, I was trying to run but I fell down stairs."

Alya looked suspicious "those are some crazy stairs to do this."

I giggles "indeed mom." I referenced her mom like behavior.

"I'm sorry." Adrian walked up and put his hand on my shoulder, then giving me a gentle hug "I should've made sure you got inside safely."

"Not your fault." I smile.

Gently Connor wraps my left arm on his shoulder, then Adrian takes my right arm. Letting me use them for support. Adrian, Connor, Alya, Nino, Marionette, and I all head to my house to hang out there instead.
