She came in on monday. Her shoulder was bandaged up and a massive scab lined her cheek. That must have been done in the fight. She walked past me and to Henry. That took me by surprise. I was even more surprised when she shook his hand and ignored my try at a convocation.
The teacher came in and she despatched herself to her seat.
Halfway into the lesson, she handed me a sheet of paper. I unfolded it and spelt out in large, fancy letters said "suck my dick"
'is that an offer or a command?' i wrote on the back and handed it over to her.
She opened it and snorted loudly. I had to cover my mouth to stop myself from laughing. The teacher turned around and raised an eyebrow at Ali.
Once she turned back around, Ali handed the paper back.
'come mine @ 5' she wrote. I nodded at her and the lesson continued like that.I didn't see her leave. She must have gone straight home.
At quarter 5, I left my dads place and walked to where I remembered Ali lived. When i reached the front lawn, I heard shouting from Ali and a man's voice that wasn't Dan's. That must be her uncle, I thought. I didn't mean to eavesdrop but it was so easy.
"You're her dad, not her husband!" Ali yelled. I didn't really feel comfortable with what she just said.
A loud clap almost echoed. Had he just hit Ali? I approched the door but didn't knock.
"Never disrespect me in my own home! I allow you and your dad to live with me, I've done all I can to help you and you throw it back into my face?
You're an ungrateful little girl who needs to grow up. Your cousin is much more mature than you and she's a year younger than you!" he lectured her.
"SHE'S A WHORE!" Ali yelled. I almost laughed but the atmosphere was too tense.
"Get out. GET OUT!" he shouted. I quickly moved from the door and to the top of the driveway.
She slammed the door open and I walked over to her.
"Never come back!" he shouted again. He looked at me and smirked.
"Go be a whore with your goth boyfriend and don't be a hypocrite. I feel sorry for Dan, raising a little punk ass bitch.
Can't even defend yourself? And he didn't protect you. Boo-hoo." he mocked, insulting me and Ali.
"At least I can hold a relationship. You seem pretty alone, old man." I defended Ali.
Yeah, I knew we weren't dating but she's my friend and nobody insults her. Her uncle didn't say anything. He just slammed the door in our faces.
