I woke up with a banging headache. I couldn't remember much from last night other than messily dancing to great MTV music.
Ali lay sleeping next to me on my sofa, snoring slightly.
I walked up the stairs to the kitchen as quiet as I could, not wanting to wake the also-hungover teen in my basement.
"Who's downstairs?" my dad asked in a monotone, not bothering to look up from his newspaper.
"A friend from school." I replied with a shrug, pouring 2 glasses of water for the both of us.
"You drank my alcohol." he pointed out.
"Well spotted, dad." I replied sarcastically, taking the painkillers and water downstairs and placing it on the table.
I then took a couple pills and downed the water, turning the TV on then straight down. It was very loud from last night. I quickly looked over at Ali, praying that I hadn't woke her but she had barley stired. Hm, a deep sleeper, same.
I watched cartoons for a couple hours, not really caring on the fact that it was Tuesday and we were supposed to be at school 2 hours ago.
Ali finally woke up, brushing sleep from her eyes with the back of her hand.
"Sleeping beauty has finally awaken from her slumber," I greeted sarcastically.
She groaned, stretching her arms up then scratching her back.
"My head hurts." she mumbled, sounding very much like a child.
"There's some pain killers on the table." I stated the obvious, not turning away from the TV.
I heard her chugging the water then lay down again.
"Make me a bacon butty." she mumbled, snuggled in my blankets.
I shook my head and stood up, walking up to the kitchen to make my hungover guest a greasy sandwich.
