"Mama what's wrong." I asked my mama as I seen she was crying hard.
I just got home from King's house, he dropped me off and I walked in the house to see my mama crying while she was packing bags.
"D-do you wanna stay with me or your daddy". She asked me as she was crying.
"I wanna stay with you. What's going on". I asked as I rushed to her side.
"It hurts". She yelled as she stop unpacking and sat down on the bed.
To see my mama hurting this bad made my blood boil. Im a mama girl and I don't play about her.
"What hurts mama". I said as tears was coming down my eyes.
"Everything every fucking thing. Why am I not good enough for him. Why is our marriage falling apart". She coughed.
"Mama everything happens for a reason. We all know that dad loves you but maybe he's not the one for you and maybe you need to find better." I told her.
"I just want to make y'all happy". She told me as she calmed down some.
"Mama you need to make yourself happy. You divorcing dad doesn't affect us because we know that y'all both love us and y'all not go treat us any different. Do what you need to do". I told her.
"Never have I thought I would be getting advice from a 17 year old girl". My mama laughed.
"I'm the best mama." I laughed.
"I need you to do me a favor". She told me.
"Wassup". I asked.
"While I'm packing bags I need you to go check out this house I've been looking at. A lady name Kelly will be waiting for you. If the house looks decent than I want you to buy it". She said as she handed me a envelope full of money.
"Yes ma'am I'm finna already showered and dressed so I can leave now". I told her.
"Ok call me if you need anything". She said handing me a pamphlet with the house information.
"I will". I said walking away and heading downstairs. I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out the door.
Once I backed out the driveway I put the house address in my GPS and drove to the house which was only Fifteen minutes away.
"Hello you must be genesis". The realtor said with a smile.
"Nice to meet you Kelly". I said shaking her hand.
"Ok are you ready for the tour". She asked me with a smile.
"Yes". I smiled as I followed her inside.
When we got inside I was in awe this house looked as good as it did outside. It was big as fuck and was more spacial than our house.
After she showed me the whole house which took a hour I took a liking into it. I liked it allot. Before I agreed to get the house I FaceTime my mama so I can show her around the house.
"Yeah it's in good shape. I like it go ahead and buy it". She cooed.
I handed the lady the envelope and she walked to her car to get the car keys and other things.
"What you doing in my room mama." I asked once I noticed she was by my closet.
"Packing some of your clothes". She replied.
"Since we moving can I get the room that I always wanted". I asked her.
"Yeah sure". She replied.
"Ok here's the keys. This is five keys if you need more you can just call me and I will send you more. Good doing business with y'all". Kelly said as she shook my hand.
Few minutes after Kelly left I left while still face timing my mama.
"Mama I wanna get a job. It's time for me to make my own money". I told my mama.
"You're working at Dreamality modeling studio" she told me.
"I know but whenever they don't call me I can have a side job. I've been thinking about working at Olive Garden. They make allot of money and Alexis and Ash works there". I told her.
"Whatever you wanna do. Do it". She told me with a smile.
"Yeah I'm finna go there no to get a application. Hopefully they give me the job". I told her as I got on exit 29 since that's where olive garden was at.
Once I made it to olive garden I grabbed my phone, wallet, and keys and headed inside.
"Welcome to Olive Garden." I heard Alexis say. I seen she was looking down and writing something on a notepad.
"Thanks hun". I smirked and her head shot up.
"Hey boo. What you doing here". She asked me as she walked around the counter to give me a hug.
"Here for the job application." I told her with a smile.
"Hold up let me go get my manager David. He might give you a interview since me and ash recommend you". She said as she sped walked to the back.
Few minutes later this tall dark skin man came from the back. I could tell he was a annoying person. I heard all about him.
"You can follow me to the back". He said with a straight look on his face.
I let him lead the way and rolled my eyes while at it. Ashlynn and Alexis said he's bipolar. Some days he's mean and some days he's nice.
"You can sit down". He told me as we walked to his office.
I rolled my eyes and sat down. This nigga about to get his ass snapped on. But I'ma chill.
"You got a attitude just like Ashlynn and Alexis. Why should I hire you". He asked me.
"Because I can be a good help". I told him. He nodded his head and wrote in his notepad.
"What job schedule you want. Part time or full time". He asked me.
"Part time". I told him.
"What days. Since you're 17 you have to have only 35 hours a week". He told me.
"How much is paying". I Asked him.
"10$ a hour". He replied.
A/N: olive garden doesn't pay much so I'm going to to make the price rage up.
"I'll do five hours for seven days". I told him.
"What's the hours. You can have any hours you want as long as its five hours a day". He told me.
"Since school start backs in three weeks I have a free schedule. Until school starts I can work 12 until 5. When school starts back I will work 5 until ten."
"I'm going to need your phone number for business reason. And I'm going to need your bank information". He said as he gave me a sheet of paper.
I wrote my information down and handed it back to him.
"I will see you tomorrow at 12". He asked me.
"Sure boss". I smirked as I got up from the table grabbing my phone, wallet, and keys.
"Don't be late or you will do a extra hour which means you will get off at 6 instead of 5". He said as walked out the door.
"Whatever nigga". I scoffed.
"Speak louder". I heard him yell.
