Six Week Later

"Oh my god I've been waiting all day for this". I told Rodney as he held the letter in his hand.
I wish my mama, dad and brothers was here with me to open the letter but my momma is at work, my daddy is out of town, Taylin and Kayden is with my dad, Nissan had football practice, And Brandon had to work. My little sisters Maraiyah and Malayiah has soccer practice, Bailey and Olivia Are at daycare and Skai has cheer practice.
So now I'm at my house with Rodney. I'm so glad he could stay with me to open the letter. I'm also glad that my family forgave him. It wasn't easy at all but eventually they forgave him which made me really happy.
"Wait let me open it". I said as I grabbed the letter from him.
I said a quick prayer before slowly opening the envelope. I took the paper out of the letter and slowly read the first few lines.
"Congratulations we are glad to inform you that you have been accepted to New York State University Beginning in Fall 2018." I read aloud before I dropped the letter and jumped on Rodney's lap.
"Oh my god Rodney I got in". I cried out loud. This was a dream come true I was so happy. Anything is possible with god by your side. I've been praying for years that I get accepted into New York State University and I did.
"I'm so proud of you lil mama. I told you that you was go get in. Congratulations baby girl". He said as he hugged me back and was kissing all over my face.
"Thanks for believing in me Rodney when I didn't believe in myself. Back when we was dating I use to always doubt myself and I didn't believe that I was good enough to ever get accepted but you told me over and over again to stop saying that dumb shit. I love you". I said before I peck his lips.
"You know I Gotcha ma. I knew you was go make it. You smart, intelligent, and I can go on and on but I want you to know that I'm always there for you no matter what. Even if we never get back together I'm still going to be by your side through thick and thin and I love you more". He told me causing me to blush.
I didn't want to move fast with Rodney right now. I wanted to enjoy the single life for right now but I do see myself getting back with Rodney. He's just so different. I always like him for being him but this new change got me feeling some type of way. The feelings are coming back. I'm always with Rodney and I don't wanna leave his side.
"I'm ready to tell my family the good news. I'm so exited baby. I'm moving to New York City". I said.
I was so happy I didn't even realized that I called Rodney Baby.
"I'm so proud for you ma. You already know ima look out for you and make sure you straight since I'm moving down there to". He said to me causing me to smile wider.
I totally forgot that Rodney is moving to New York City. Both of our dreams come true. He's going to be a big time rapper and he's going to be famous and I'm going to my dream college.
"Let's go celebrate". I smiled As I got up from his lap.
"What you got up your sleeves lil girl". He asked me with a smirk on his face.
"I want to spend the rest of my day with you. Let's go have some fun". I told him.
"Your ass love hanging around with me but I love it. Go get dressed and we'll head out".
I looked down at my attire and looked back at him. "I am dressed Rodney. Remember I took a shower and got dressed". I said to him.
He looked me up and down with his jaws clenched and his eyebrow raised. I already knew he didn't like my choice of clothing by the way he was looking.
