MinJung's POV

"Mr. Choi, let me feed you okay?"

I said as I brought a bowl of hot chicken soup inside his vip hospital room.

I looks at his helpless self as he sharply looks at the covered bowl in my tight hold.

Looking at his state, he literally can't do anything except yelling at me but he'll get tired though.

So used to it now.

So, I bravely take a seat in a chair by his bed.

I smile in nervous at his curious + sharp gaze on me. "It's a chicken soup. I know that you hate porridge. So I cook you a chicken soup."

He frowns in silent.

"A-ah, I-I um, I can't promise you it's delicious but I can promise you it's really edible! I tasted it earlier and it turns out that I'm still alive! H-hehe. I'm sorry, I don't have that much money to buy one that is delicious so I cook."

I said gulping slightly.

"..." He looks at me in silent.

His gaze can really make me peed myself in my pants.

I awkwardly clears my throat and quickly opens the bowl letting the delicious smell of the chicken soup that I made.

I take a napkin from my bag and put it on his upper chest trying to prevent any leaking to his hospital dress shirt.

"What are you doing??" He suddenly raises his voice slightly.

I calmly says, "I'm trying to help you prevent from any dirts."

Mr. Choi keeps silent again as he sees me scoop some of the chicken soup for him.

I put the spoon near his mouth as he slowly open his mouth and I wait for his reaction.

"Does it taste okay?" I asks him in concern.

"Hm." He slightly just nod his head to me before looking away.

I smiles brightly showing my dimples to him and becomes more confident in feeding him my first chicken soup.

I can see him stares at me.

How can't he?

I have the same dimples as my Mother. Same place, same shape.

I feed him until the bowl clean and put down the bowl before wiping his mouth slightly.

"Mr. Choi, you should eat this medicine and sleep since you need a lot of rest. Later after you wake up, I'll take you out for fresh air okay?"

I said and clean up all the mess while feeding him as I glance to him closing his eyes mutely.

My heart aches for a moment but I ignore it.

'How hard is his feelings?' I thought and shake my head off that negative thoughts.

"Urgh, my back."

I said in a low voice as I lean against Mr. Choi's hospital room's window before sighing in a very soft voice.

I look at Mr. Choi soullessly from my seat and stand up and take a seat near his bed putting my chin in my right hand.

I stares at my father's features intently instead of his picture I have in my wallet for the first time in my life.

Believe it or not, this is my first time ever that I can seat this close to him for the longest time.

He looks so calm in his slumber.
