* The Boy Above is Danny ↑

I see him. I see Aubrey. The highschool linebacker. The 100% straight football player.

I notice him place his long, tan arm around his girlfriend, Alex. Oh, how I wish I was her. I wish Aubrey would hold me like that. I wish he would kiss me, and tell me that he loved me.

But he won't. He will never do that. He's a heterosexual male. I'm a homosexual male. It just won't work out.

"Hey, Danny," I hear him call out.

"Y-Yeah?" I reply shakily.

"Come over here with us! We don't mind," he says.

I smile, and make my way towards him, Levi, Alex, Brooke, and Blayne. All of the guys are hot, but Aubrey is the hottest and closest to me. He, and I sometimes sit back in class and make offensive jokes. He's dreamy.

I notice Alex grimace as I approach them. "Hey, best friend!" Levi exclaims. He's very nice to me.

"Yo, fuck off, Danny is my best friend," Aubrey replies teasingly.

"But I've known him longer! I knew him before he began transitioning to a boy!"

"Bitch, so did I!"

"Guys, both of you are my best friends. Calm down," I assure them. Levi smiles triumphantly. Aubrey shakes his head at Levi, which causes me to giggle.

Blayne looks very uncomfortable. "What's wrong?" I ask him, even though I know what's wrong. He hates being around me because I'm gay. He believes I'm an abomination and damned to Hell.

"Um, I just didn't expect you..." he replies.

Brooke scoots closer to him. She's his current girlfriend. They'll last about another week before breaking up again, I just know it.

"Anyways, what's up?" Aubrey asks me. He removes his arm from Alex's waist and walks closer to me. Alex rolls her eyes.

"Well, I've been on T for one year now," I reply, "And, Adore Delano released some new music so I'm very happy."

"So that's why you're wearing your Adore Delano shirt today," Aubrey points out, "You seem to really like her, or him. Whatever they prefer."

I love them!" I reply. But no where near as much as I love you.

"Aubrey, we need to get to my parents' house!" Alex whines, "We can't be late!"

"Oh," he simply says. He does his zoned out, goldfish expression. "It was good talking to you, Danny. See you in math tomorrow."

"See 'ya," I reply.

Then, he, and his friends walk away. It looks like I'm alone again. As always.
