Seth P.O.V:
Sam is furious. I wonder where Athena went. She left all of her stuff in her room. I hope she comes back. I know she’s Embry’s imprint and all, but I can’t help feeling the need to protect her. I am just willing to be her friend, her protector, her brother, and I don’t care if she loves me or not as long as I’m in her life. Wow that sounded kind of stalkerish. If I didn’t know any better I would say I’m the one who actually imprinted on Athena. I deserve her more than Embry ever will.
Embry P.O.V:
After Seth’s little escapade I go outside and turn into my wolf and start running. My wolf is mad at me. Outside of this wolf I care about Athena sure. But, after hearing that story about her boyfriend Cedric I just lost my temper. Why did I even flirt with Jade? I LOVE ATHENA.
“Well it’s a good thing you admitted it. I was about to rip you to shreds.” ,Seth says.
“Seth did you really mean those things earlier?”, I ask. I’m honestly afraid of his answer.
“Kind of, I mostly meant that I love her more as a friend than you ever will. We all know that you love her as more than a friend.”, Seth says, but it sounds forced out.
“Let’s go look for Athena.”, I say. Then the rest of the pack joins in to look for Athena. This is going to be hard. I just hope we find her soon.
Athena P.O.V:
It’s been five months since I’ve left La Push. I hear campers every now and then. But, they don’t come here. This is private property that me and Cedric saved up for and bought. It’s almost Christmas. Only one more day until Christmas Eve, I gather the packs and Emily’s presents and send them with my owl.
The nursery is done, but I got the Daily Prophet yesterday. Apparently Hogwarts is no longer accepting muggle-borns. And they’re barely accepting Half-bloods! I contacted Mr. and Mrs. Diggory about the potion. They were ecstatic. Apparently on the day of the final task Cedric told them about me and our plans to marry. They’re going to come over tomorrow to celebrate Christmas Eve with me. I’m honestly scared though; these people called Snatchers are taking muggle-borns like me to the Ministry of Magic to claim a reward. There is a war coming in the Wizarding World. I’m left wondering though, should I fight in it? Or should I stay with my baby?
Embry P.O.V:
It’s been five months. Five months. I’m a real jerk. I’ll never deserve Athena or anyone else in all my life time. I know she’s not dead. But, that’s all I know. She could be back in England, which I think she is. And tomorrows Christmas Eve! I don’t know why but since Jade has come everyone’s been acting a little weird. And I along with the rest of pack have noticed something. Leah seems to disappear to Seattle during the weekdays and on weekends she comes by late. Whenever we bring up the subject to Seth or Leah they just change the subject. Right now the rest of the pack and me are watching them. I feel like a ninja! This is fun. I hear I giggle and see a girl around ten years old run up to Seth and Leah. She screams the least expected words I’ve ever heard.
“Mommy! Uncle Seth! Can I put the angel on the tree tonight please?”, she asks with puppy dog eyes. Why would she call Leah ‘mommy’ unless, Leah is her mom. Well no duh Sherlock. Great my brain is being mean to me again.
“Sure, now come on we have to get home before people see you.”, Leah says nervously.
“Why can’t people see me mommy?”, the little girl asks her eyes looking down. Leah bends down so her eyes are level with the girl’s.
“Aurora Samantha Clearwater. We’ve been over this. You’re too awesome to be known by most people here. That’s why you go to school in Seattle. Now how’s my big girl?”, Leah asks in the nicest tone of voice most of us have never heard her speak in. Wait Aurora’s middle name is Samantha? Well that’s peculiar. What else is peculiar is the word peculiar. Did someone just look at something and say “Well that’s peculiar?” same with the word Orange. How are these kinds of names made?
“Hey Sam, that girl’s middle name is Samantha. Leah named her daughter after you.”, I whisper. All of a sudden Leah’s head snaps towards our direction. She hurriedly brings her daughter into her house. Seth goes with her. All you could hear is whispered voices and the door locking. Well that was unexpected.
