A touching story between a teenager Named Alex and a old man named Pete. They survived an outbreak of the zombie apocalypse and are now in the middle of nowhere.

[The same day.]
Alex was still sat in the car being emotional, angry thoughts ran through his mind he wished he wasn't such a coward but he came to except who he is. He wiped his eyes with his sleeve all was well and silent. Till screams came from the forest, "help me please!" The feminine screams broke through the air piercing Alex's ears. The truck door opened and Alex stood out, peter walked out the shack at the same time. "Alex get back..." he grunted.
Pete walked past the truck with a double barrel shotgun in his hands and his six shooter in the holster on his right leg. "I'm gonna go scout it out. Stay here where it's safe." Alex waited for Pete to keep walking till he was no longer visible, the glove box in the truck was opened by Alex pulling out a large hunting knife. "I'm sorry Dad... I'm sorry!" Alex screamed to himself inside the truck, rolling up his sleeve he puts the blade towards his wrist. He counted to 3 gulped then let the blade slide across his left wrist it wasn't deep enough to do much damage but the scar will appear there.
A gunshot was heard from the forest along with another female scream, Alex instantly rolled down his sleeve got out the truck and started to walk into the forest with the blooded blade in his right hand. He kept walking deeper and deeper until the forest swallowed him whole...
