I was there, looking from the shadows. They needed to think I was dead. All of them. Lynn, the Boss and the one that controls the camera's. But I wasn't really dead.
When I fell to my doom, I knew I would survive the fall. The car was tough enough to withstand the harsh landing. I let the Nitro tank explode to let them think I was dead. But Lynn didn't do anything. She didn't kill anyone. And as I lurked in the shadows, I saw that they still went on with my plan. Maybe I was wrong about her being a spy. Or she is smart enough to know that I'm somehow still alive. But if I wait long enough, she will make a move. And I can show everyone that she is indeed a spy. I convinced Kate already and she seems to be fighting Lynn with a Credit battle to not let her become the Most Wanted player. I reversed into the shadows. Just a few more days in the shadows, then they will all know that she's a spy.
Lynn's P.O.V
I was tense. I didn't know if I should make a move. It has been a few days since we've all seen Raven. My dashboard flickered, the Boss wanted to talk with me again. I accepted the call. "Why aren't they dead yet?" He asked. "W-well," I muttered. "I think Raven is still alive. It's just for precaution." The Boss gave me a patient smile and then roared: "Kill them now or you will not be returned from the game!" I flinched. I couldn't ignore His commands any longer. I drove towards the group, revved my engine, and then went full ramming speed. The Boss would save me if I died. Suddenly a Ford came out of nowhere and rammed me instead. I barely survived the crash. The Ford seemed fine. And the last time I saw someone with a Ford like that was when....I lowered my window. "Lynn. How are ya?" I said. "Did I just see you try and kill everyone?" She cursed, mad because both her car and misson was dead. Kate was the first one to notice me. "Raven!" she yelled. That made James look around until he saw me too. "Rav-" he began, but then noticed my car and the huge dent in Lynn's car. "Did you try and kill Lynn?!" He yelled angrily at me. I couldn't find words. He still liked Lynn. I was probably really dead, if Kate didn't save me. "Well, Lynn was about to ram us full on." she said. "Didn't you look when you heard the approching car?" James tried to defend himself by saying that he heard Lynn's engine and it was probably fine, but Kate stopped him again: "You should always look who is approching. For all we know it could be a enemy player." James finally gave up. I thanked Kate and she replied to me with a warm smile. The team was together again and Lynn's true nature was revealed to everyone.
This is the end of the seventh part of "NFS, Most Wanted - What's It Like?" Until next time.
