chapter 5- busted!

Ink's pov
I woke up back in the room, and realised how cold I had gotten. I was shaking, snuggled up to nightmare. He opened his eye a little bit, and looked down at me. He then slid the tenticals around me, pulling me in to him with his arms, kissing me. I kissed back, leaning more up on him. "I have to do something." I said after pulling a bit out of the kiss. He looked at me before nodding "ok" to that, and I teleported to the kitchen. I was about to take some water, but suddenly heard walking. I turned fast around to see dust appearing in the door. When I'm hurt I know it's hard, but I teleported away hoping he didn't notice that it was me. I opened my eyes to see that I was in the wrong room, and backed slowly out the door. My leg has been healing a lot, and I can walk on it a little bit now. I suddenly while backing up felt someone grab my shirt, and pull me back. Cross threw me up the wall, pressing his knife to my throat. I was about to call for help, but the knife pressed harder as soon as I inhaled. I tried harder, and harder to breathe, but it was too hard...I coulden't get enough air. A tear ran down my cheek. Was he...I guess he was gonna kill me...I have no way to escape...I can't open the portals. My vision started getting blurred, and shaking. "N-nn-" i breathed heavy...or...tried. I coulden't get enough, and gave some small kicks from me before blacking out.

Nightmares pov
Where in the world is ink, and what the hell did he get messed in to... should...I try to uh...go...check? I didn't get a lot of thinking before i heard a knock on the door. I signed sharply, and answerd "get in." Cross walked in with the biggest shock of the day. "Sir i found him walking in the halls." He had ink who was uncontius, and bleeding a lot. I can't just tell cross to leave him here like I cared about him...no one could know about our love, and so no matter how mutch it hurt me I had to do this for the secret to be kept. "Put him in a cell. You don't have to stay guard. i will do that." Cross looked at me weirdly before nodding "ok sir" and getting ink to a cell. I teleported to the cell a bit after were cross had left, and opened the cell. I sat down beside ink, and started wrapping some bandages around his throat. Cross has probably been using his knife...as always. I whiped some of the tears that was still on ink's face away with my hand, and wonderd how it all happened. I suddenly heard him whimper a little bit. It seemed hard for him to do with the deep scare in his throat. I was on my knees, and lifted ink up closer to me.
"Shhh shh shh, no no. It's ok, it's ok. There, there. Shh." I held his head to my chest, and tried calming him down. He held on to my chest, and I teleported us back to my room. I sat there with him, and gently was... rocking...him? I guess so yea. At least it helped. I kissed his forehead, and laid him in the bed. I laid I the blanket over, and packed him well in so he'd keep warm. I kissed him again, and started cuddeling him, and he seemed to smile just a bit. I pulled him in to me, and kept cuddeling him. I wrapped my tenticals around him to keep him warm, and we fell slowly asleep together.

Ink's pov
I felt someone kiss me, and I kissed back listening to their calm voice. "Morning~." He said calmly. I looked up at him, and inhaled about to respond, but suddenly felt something. . .I CAN'T SPEAK! what's going on!! What do i do!!! What is happening!!! I freaked out until i felt nightmare grab my arms, and look me in the eyes. "Shh calm down. Your negative energy is really too strong right now." He almost whisperd. I looked at him on the edge of tears. He laid a hand on my cheek, and gently whiped the tears away. I leaned my head on his chest, and closed my eyes shakingly. He kissed my forehead, and dragged me in to his lap. He laid a hand overt throat where the bandage is, and slid his finger over the scar a bit gentely. I inhaled a bit, and grabbed his hand, pulling it away slightly. He looked at me before pulling it the rest away a bit harsh, "oh sorry...I...I didn't...sorry...just looking around to see...what had... happened..." his voice went slight off at the end of that sentence. I wanted, no, needed to speak. I can't let him think he did something without i'm saying he didn't...I don't want that. I inhaled, trying to speak, but I just ended up whining acidentally...or... something...sounding a bit like it... all i know is that it 'scared' Nightmare, beacause he hurried to lift me back up. "P-please d-don't...w-what's
w-wrong? I-it hurt's?" He was shaking a bit. I nodded a bit, and tried signing 'little' with my hand, as in i was saying 'yes a little.' It's just a bit hard though. He lifted me all up to him, and i kissed his cheek. He sighed a bit sharply "yea...your probably right...I'll calm down then..." I nodded a bit to what he said, and smiled. I sat closer up in his lap, and nuzzled my head in to his chest, hugging him. He looked down, and kissed me. I kissed back. At least he calmed down.
