Chapter 102 Review (SPOILERS)

This. Is. The best. Battle. Of. The. Whole. Manga.

I'm so fucking excited. While I was reading I almost screamed or cried because it was so good xD

This chapter is full of action and condensed emotion! The scene when Mikasa asked Eren what he had done broke my heart. She was crying, and I cried with her... I understand Eren but what he did is terrible. We later see the consequences of his acts on people, and seeing the young warriors die made me really sad... I think Isayama wants some of his characters to look like the bad guys sometimes and the good guys sometimes, like Reiner or Eren. After that, I wonder if Mikasa will still see him the same way as before... (I'm confident though because of the way Mikasa looks at him) Their conversation got interrupted by the fight but maybe it'll continue later. I want to see them talking, I want to know what they think, how they feel, how they evolved ;-;

We can see the evolution of the Survey Corps equipment, with hook launchers on the arms, like Kenny's squads. Now they got bombs too. Mikasa has these powerful lightning spears. I don't know if they even have blades anymore (Levi has them so idk they probably use many different weapons depending on what they're the best with) This version of the 3DMG is clearly adapted to their new enemy, which is humans and Titan shifters.

The Warhammer is clearly the most interesting Titan I've ever seen. It's very different and bring many things in terms of strategy. It seems unbeatable, and I'm sure that it can do much more with it's hardening ability than shown. Indeed, if it can create so precise and big shapes a crossbow, a hammer and all the different shapes he made appear, we can imagine that it can do basically any weapon, almost instantly... I'm picturing it with medieval weapons like a giant sword and a giant shield, it would look so good!! However it has a major weakness: the human body is not in the name but in the ground, which implied many things: First it just can't move around. I guess it can't get far away from his human body... Unless it picks it up and carry it? Secondly, it can't defend well its Titan body and its human body at the same time which allowed Eren to grab the human body. Finally, I think it's possible to kill the Warhammer by cutting the nerves that bind the shifter to the Titan. But when it controls the situation it looks incredibly powerful.

Gabi is very interesting. She looks just like the young Eren. (Even her face expressions remind me of him) Her friends were killed so she doesn't understand and starts to grow a burning anger towards those she thinks are devils. The little difference that makes her look less lovable to me is that unless Eren, she had already some hate in her before shit went down in her life. But most importantly I want to know how she will turn, if she'll grow up like Eren did or not. Very interesting. ...I have already said that. XD

All the characters grew up awesomely (not Levi lel). Sasha and Connie don't look like immature children anymore (Ready for Springlesss xD). Jean is fucking badass. Nothing more to say, he looks cool, and I live his personality.

Eren showed that he became much stronger. Being cold-blooded allowed him to think and elaborate strategies, so he found out the Warhammer's weakness. Notice that he also transformed twice in the same battle.

And then... Everybody showed up. Porco attacked Eren, Levi attacked Porco, Pieck attacked Levi. And Zeke came back. It was so epic! This battle will be the biggest of the manga, I can't wait!! Shiganshina battle upgraded. Moreover this is gonna look so good in anime (if I'm still alive to see it in 42 years XD).
At the end Zeke said "Don't let them escape. Annihilate them."
And Levi said "Don't die. Survive."
This definitely shows the difference of mentality... I have chosen who I want to win.

Conclusion. The hype is real. All the strongest characters are here to fight to the death and they... Wait where is Armin?

*understands that even more shit is about to go down*
