The snore

As you say there in front of Alex you stared down at your lap biting your lip. Alex just continues to stare at you in awe.

"So tell me a little bit about yourself." Alex asked you with a smile on his face.

"Well I u-uh, I'm from Ohio from a really small town near Cleveland. I love animals of all kind but my favorite animal is a (Y/F/A). I just think they're so cute! My birthday is in October so I'm a libra."

"Oh no, this isn't gonna work, you're into horoscopes!" Alex says sarcastically.

"I um think they're kind cool... I'm not really into them though..." you say hesitantly pushing a piece of your hair behind your ear.

"Oh, I was just kidding. I thought you would've picked up on the sarcasm." Alex says awkwardly.

"Hahaha... oh yeah, that's something else! I'm terrible at picking up sarcasm!" You say laughing.

You and Alex just sit there laugh for a couple seconds. You look over to your left looking over the balcony back at the stars. Alex stands up and reaches out his hand for you to grab. You slowly take his hand into yours and stand up.

"Let's go in and let everyone know the plans for tonight!" Alex states.

"Sounds good!" You say.

Alex opens the door and you both walk in. Everyone is sitting on the couches or standing in the kitchen.

"Ah (Y/N)! I was just telling everyone about that time you fell down a whole flight of stairs!" (Y/F/N) says to you in mid laugh.

"Well (Y/N) and I have decided we're all just gonna stay here tonight. We figured it'd be a good way to get to know each other!" Alex says with a smile.

Everyone agrees with a smile and a nod.

Hours later everyone began to get tired people falling asleep one by one. Alex, David, (Y/F/N) and you were the last ones up. Finally David decided to head to bed he brings you and (Y/F/N) blankets and pillows for the couch. You get comfortable on the couch as you begin to yawn.  Alex walks into the room then into the kitchen and opens the fridge and grabs a bottled water.

"Would you like one?" he says softly so he wouldn't wake anyone.

"Yes please." You say back quietly. He walks you over a water bottle with a smile and hand it to you.

"Sleep tight." He says with a smile.

"Back at ya!" You reply.

You hear his door shut down the hall. You tossed and turned on the couch for what felt like hours but when you looked at your phone only 20 mins have passed... you weren't able to sleep on the couch so you decided to put up you pillow and blanket and carry it down the hall. You reach Alex's room and we're just thinking about going to lay back down on the couch because you were to shy to knock on his door. They second you turn to walk back to the couch you hear a door open.

"Hey, what are you still doing up?" Alex questions you with a sleepy voice.

"Oh, I u-um was looking for the bathroom." You said softly looking down at the floor.

You continued to stare at the ground because you realized Alex was only in his boxers.

"You know where the bathroom is i showed you earlier and you're holding your pillow and blanket... what were you actually doing?" Alex asked.

"I uh can't really sleep I was gonna see if you were still up." You stated.

"We'll come here pretty girl!" Alex says opening up his arms to you.

You walk into his arms and the two of you walk into his room. You lay near the wall because it felt more comfortable because that's where you normally sleep at home. Alex brings you into a tight embrace. Your cheeks grow red and hot.

"Sleep well pretty girl" He says in your ear.

You smile to yourself and say "I'll try."

15 mins have passed you you've found yourself finally starting to get sleepy when all of a sudden you hear a soft snore. You look over to notice Alex sleeping with his mouth open. You softly laugh to yourself.

Normally snoring is something that keeps you up at night.. but in this case it calmed you down and you fell into a soothing sleep soon after.
