You and Alex make your way out of the store, Alex looks at you in awe like you were the most gorgeous human in the whole world. You look down at the sidewalk as you to walk silently hand in hand. But you didn't really care because it was still nice to just be in his presence. Finally Alex decides to break the silence.
"So I figured I'd take you to this nature trail to go for a walk. I know it really don't sound like much but it's really an amazing place." Alex says to you as his thumb runs agains the top of your hand.
"That sounds just wonderful Alex!" You say with a smile on your face.
You look around at everything all around you. All the high end cars and the "street performers".
"It's only about 10 more mins pretty girl. Hope you're not to tired! We still got a bit of walking to do once we get there." He informs you.
"I'm fine... do you think I'm out of shape or something?!" You say playfully back to him.
"Of course not!" He says worriedly.
Ten minutes pass and you see a sign to a local nature reservation. Alex and you walk onto a dirt path and follow it for about 15 mins talking and making jokes the entire time.
"This is where we need to turn, you're gonna love this place, I promise!" He says to reassure you.
"No need to reassure me Alex I'm sure it's gorgeous. But is it really a good idea to go off the path?" You question Alex and he's leading you off the path with you hand still in his.
"Yes, it's fine I've done this so many times we will be fine." He says to reassure you once again. Alex takes off his shirt because he was hot from all the walking.
You finally reach a very steep drop and look down all you see is one of the most gorgeous waterfalls you've seen. It was surrounded by different green foliage.
"Wow... this really is beautiful Alex!" You say to him with excitement.
You pull out your phone and begin to take pictures of the water fall and everything around you. You just thought this whole area was so beautiful.
"Alex turn around let me take a candid picture of you so I can remember this day and you could post it on your Instagram if you'd like!" You say with excitement. He agrees.

You spot someone in the distance walking towards you and Alex. And the person got closer you realized it was a girl around your age who had headphone in her ears she seemed to be lost in thought but as she got closer she looked up at you.
"Excuse me! Would you mind taking a picture of me and my friend." You say hesitantly not only because you were asking a complete stranger to take a picture for you but also because you weren't sure what to consider Alex.
"Oh, sure that's fine I'd love to!" The girl replied to you with a smile.
She was gorgeous. She had on running tights with a tank top on and was wearing a ball cap. She was dressed so normal but she was just naturally pretty. You move back to wrap your arms around Alex to take the picture. Alex turns around from looking at the view and his face becomes very pale and his smile immediately faded off of his face.
"Jenna?!" He says with a stutter rubbing the back of his neck.
"Alex.... you seem like you've moved on quickly." Jenna says with anger in her voice as she crossed her arms.
"Not now Jenna please?" He asked her.
"Oh why not Alex? I mean is this where you take all your girlfriends to completely win them over?!" She says getting louder and louder by the second. By this time she was squeezing your phone in one of her hands.
"Alex, what's going on?" You ask him sadly.
"I can't even believe you Alex. You disgust me! And you're with her now! Look at her! She's nothing compared to me Alex face it." She says flinging my phone into the air. I didn't even have time to react to try and catch it. You turn around and watch it slide down the slope and right into the river that was connected to the waterfall.
"My phone!" You say panicking. Not because you couldn't live with out it but because your grandmothers last words were on that phone. And now they were gone. You two were so very close. She was the first person you'd call for everything and she listened. She was your best friend. You held your hand over your mouth as tears start to stream down your face.
"I'll buy you a new phone (Y/N), please don't cry." He says with a frown on his face with a very irritated tone.
"It's not just a damn phone Alex! I had very important things on there!" You scream back at Alex, now with a stream of tears throwing down your face.
"Have fun with your new bitch Alex." She said with attitude and started running past us putting her head phone back in.
"Look (Y/N) I'm sorry for snapping at you it jus.." Alex begins to say as you cut him off before his finished talking.
"I can't even believe you right now. Not only because of this whole phone situation and you getting snippy with me but the fact that you really took her here to win he over too?! And if you were so into me you wouldn't of let her talk to me the way she did!" You say with a stream of tears coming down your face.
"I think this is my warning...I always fall for the guys that could careless about me." You say quietly as you turned away but aloud enough for Alex to hear.
"(Y/N) wait!!! Let me walk you home and explain."
You began to run back towards where you got off the trail ignoring Alex as he yelled to you Then you ran and ran up until you got to the entrance. You then walked up a side walk till you hit the Main Street and waved down a taxi. Just then it began to pour down rain. Like finally got a taxi and hopped in and told the driver to take you to your apartment.
ALEX'S POV
I ran and ran after (Y/N). I really needed to explain everything. I really have feelings for her I don't want to lose my chance with her... All of a sudden it began to pour down rain. I finally reached the Main Street and looked all around for her. I couldn't find her she was no where to be found....
