******************************************

As you say in the back of the taxi you couldn't stop crying. You couldn't believe that this all happened so quickly. Were you just some other girl to Alex? You didn't know but in the moment you didn't care. The cab finally pulls up to your house, you pay the driver then run up to your apartment. When you open the door you go to flip on the switch to turn the lights on but the power was out. Just then a huge bolt of lightning strikes and lights up you apartment.

"God damn it, can this day get any worse!" You yell out loud to yourself. You walk to (Y/F/N) room and knock on the door. There was no response so you opened it slowly just Incase she was in there sleeping. She wasn't home so you figured she was still over at Alex's House.

You walk to your closet and pull out a bunch of candles and a lighter. You bring them to the living room and light them and set them down on your coffee table. You walk to your room to grab your pillows and your blanket. You decided you were going to try and sleep in the living room do the night because you were terrified of thunderstorms. You just hoped (Y/F/N) would be home soon or tonight for that matter. As you sat on your couch you began to cry all over again into the palm of your hands as they covered your face. Normally you wouldn't be this emotional over things like this... but you really have feelings for Alex.

ALEX'S POV

I went back to the apartment in hope (Y/N) would be there waiting to talk to me and let me explain everything. As I walked through the door I noticed the power was out. I then walked into the living room to see everyone sitting, talking and laughing. (Y/F/N) was there but (Y/N) wasn't.

"Alex! How'd it go?! Where's (Y/N)?" (Y/F/N) asks.

"Well I was hoping she was here or you knew... but from the looks of it you don't do you?" I asked (Y/F/N).

"I'm sure she's back home but I bet she's freaking out about this thunderstorm. She hates them! So what happened anyway?" (Y/F/N) asks.

"Listen I need to talk to her first before I talk to anyone else. Can I have you address I'm headed to you apartment." I asked her hopefully.

"I'll shoot her a text to make sure she's there first." she states.

"Don't bother (Y/N)'s phone broke she doesn't have one now. I'm gonna take her to get a new one tomorrow." I reply back.

(Y/F/N) went to a frown. Like something was seriously wrong but couldn't tell what.

"I bet you (Y/N) is so upset about her phone... he grandmas last words were on there... she meant everything to her." (Y/F/N) said sadly.

""Wow, I really need to go fix things..." I say back.

(Y/F/N) gives me her address and tells me to inform (Y/N) that she's stay at my place again for the night. I make my way to (Y/N) apartment by foot. I didn't really care at this point I was already soaking wet from earlier. I finally reach her apartment and find my way to her floor and her apartment number. I then knocked on the door.

"Who is it!" (Y/N) yells in a chocked up voice. She's clearly been crying since she left.

"Hey.... listen it's Alex, I really need to explain some things to you... please let me in... please." I said to her practically begging.

I hear a thud as she unlocks the deadbolt to her door.

"What do you want to say Alex." She says as she opens the door only slightly.

"Come on let me in. I'm freezing as it is." You said back still practically begging.

"Fine." She says as she opens the door fully and walks back to her couch and covers up with a blanket.

YOUR POV

Alex shuts the door behind him and takes his shoes off at the door. He was soaking wet he must've walked here in this storm.

"I'm still not happy with you, but if you'd like you can take a shower so you can clean up and warm up. Take this candle." I say to Alex holding out a three wick candle.

"That sounds nice. I'll be back." He says back to me as he grabs the candle from my hand.

I led him to the bathroom and turns on the water for him. Went to the closet and grabbed a towel and a washcloth and brought it to him.

"This should be everything you need." You says to his quietly.

"Thank you pretty girl." He says to me with a smile.

And he did it again. Even when I don't want to like him. He makes me get butterflies. I walk back to the couch and sit down and pull my covers over me. About 10 minutes later Alex walks out of the bath room and sits next to me on the couch.

He was only in the towel that I gave him. He had it wrapped around his waist.

"I know what your thinking

"I know what your thinking... but my clothes are drenched and I really don't wanna get back into them." Alex says with a sigh.

"I understand." I quickly responded.

He then began to get really close to me little by little.

"I really hate thunderstorms." I say to break the awkward silence.

"So I've heard. I'm gonna stay here with you tonight wether you want me to or not. (Y/F/N) is staying at my place again for the night and I'm not leaving you here alone." He says sternly.

"Fine.... so are you going to explain or no?" I say to him with sass.

He then scoots in very close to me and puts the blankets over himself too so we were under them together. He wraps his arms around me and begins to explain from the very beginning.
