Unfamiliar moves

Chapter two

"What was he doing here" I asked myself

"Oh hi kayt" he said

"Hold up?" I thought "he actually knows my name?"

"Hi, you come here much?" I asked. Why I asked that is unknown to myself as it was the first thing I could think of I felt like a right idiot I could of slapped myself. Why did I say that? Why was I so nervous around him?

"Ha ha, you are nervous around me! He smirked. He leaned into me right by my ear and breathed in "I could make you extremely nervous, in fact it would be a pleasure" as soon as he slowly spoke those words I could feel that my face was on fire.

"Hey Ryan!" Leona stated "come on kayt we will be late for class! Your mum said she would meet us by the car afterwards"

I quickly looked away from Ryan and ran towards the studio.

"What did he say to you? Leona asked

"Nothing? He just said hi?" I said the truth was I didn't really know what he said, or why he said it? I couldn't quite focus? Did that really just happen?

I was out of focus in my class, I learnt the new routine but it didn't feel quite right.

"Come on kayt, focus! Again! 5,6,7,8" my teacher Aimee shouted. I needed to snap out of this or I'd end up going crazy I thought.

"Hey mum!" I said whilst getting back into the car.

"Hello sweetheart, did you girls have a good class?" She asked

Before I had a chance to answer Leona had beaten me to it by saying that we did great but I seemed a little unfocused? And Leona then proceeded to say it was because of Ryan, who I had a massive crush on since like forever, had finally said "hello" to me! I jabbed her in the ribs with my elbow but she just smirked and continued to humiliate me with her word vomit! My mum was pretty cool about the "boy" talk as she was always asking me why I had never got a boyfriend, or even spoke about them? I don't know why I hadn't I mean I was 17 and had never even been on a date let alone had a first kiss.

"Leona! Stop talking! I can't believe that you are making something out of nothing he just said hi! I said matter of factly

"Well it didn't look like nothing to me? You seemed pretty flushed?" She smirked

My mum and Leona giggled like a couple of school girls!

We drove for about 10 minutes and dropped Leona off at her house. I waved and about 5 houses down was our drive. Mum parked the car I opened the door to the house and went straight upstairs for a shower.

I came back down and mum had warmed up a lasagne that was already prepared with a bowl of salad. We ate in silence, as always.

It was just the two of us tonight as Wednesdays were the one day of the week that dad would work late and normally get in around 10pm. He would have already eaten and my mum always kept emergency lasagnes in the freezer and various other prepared meals as sometimes I would be on my own and seen as I was a ridiculously bad cook it was safer for her to cook food and freeze portions just for myself. I did not get my culinary skills from my mothers side in fact my dad was just about as bad as myself! We both knew how to use the microwave though and with all the different meals in our freezer I don't think we would ever starve.

After dinner I went back upstairs and completed my homework and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up in the night as I could hear tapping on my window? I was a bit apprehensive about opening it as I wasn't sure what to expect. I hesitantly walked over to it and slowly peeked through my curtains. I couldn't believe my eyes? I opened my window.... "Ryan?"

"Kayt, I'm coming up!" He loudly whispered.

Before I had a chance to object he had hauled himself up onto my windowsill and was slipping through the window.

"What are you doing here" I asked I quickly crossed my arms across my chest as I realised that I didn't really leave a lot to the imagination as I was standing in front of him with my black nightshirt that only just came to my knee and I was not wearing any underwear!

"I came to give you something" he said with confidence. A smile rose on his lips.

"Wh" before I had a chance to finish talking his lips sealed onto mine! He kissed me! Ryan black kissed me!

In Fact he was still kissing me! I melted? There wasn't really much else that I could do.

He placed his hand on the small of my back as his other hand reached into my hair pressing my lips harder to his. He teased my lips with his tongue asking for entrance and I let him in. I didn't really know what was happening or why it was happening? This all felt so natural I honestly thought that my first kiss would be all over the place. But if this is what it is like surely it can't get any better! I didn't want it to end.

"Kayt"

"Kayt"

I could hear someone shouting in the background

"Ding ding ding ding ding!" I groaned into his mouth.

What?? Wait?? No!!!!

It was all a dream my mum was screaming at me to wake up as my alarm was going off!
