Unfamiliar moves

Chapter three

I shot out of bed and switched off my alarm.

"What a dream!" I thought to myself

I skimmed my fingers over my lips and looked at myself in the mirror they were looking pretty swollen and my face had a natural flush to the cheeks. Why did my alarm have to wake me up? I was really enjoying my dream.

I walked into my en-suite and turned on the shower. The water felt good on my body. I washed my hair and got out.

I decided to use minimum makeup today as my cheeks were still pretty flushed so blusher was definately not needed. I dried my hair and applied a bit of serum to my waves. I looked at the clock and realised I had loads of time yet before myself and Leona had class as we had a free period this morning. So I quickly text her.

"Hey Hun! You awake?"

I text

"Of course I am! Jakes home, mum and dad are away and his slut of a girlfriend was over last night! So been for a jog. Just about to get in the shower. Why are you up so early? We do have a free period this morning don't we?"She replied

Jake was Leona's older brother he was 19 and was back from university for a year whilst he was trying to "find himself" I mean seriously that boy never stuck to anything. He had joined every sports team going whilst we were growing up his parents had purchased kits, shoes, everything he would need and after a couple of weeks or months he decided he didn't want to do it anymore. I really got on with Jake but he really needed to grow up. He had finally decided to go to university and study politics but clearly he had gotten bored again. He had decided he was taking a year off and get a job whilst he decided what his next step in life would be. I hoped he would figure it out soon enough.

The only thing that Jake had managed to stick with was his girlfriend Naomi. She was a horrible girl. She had a gorgeous figure and got a lot of attention but the personality that she had been blessed with was awful. She was forever picking on me when I went round and was only pleasant towards Leona when Jake was about. Apart from that the snide, bitchy comments would come out of her mouth towards us both. They had been a couple since forever.

I quickly text back as I couldn't believe that she didn't realise

"Yes lee we have a free period! That can only mean one thing..............?"

"Breakfast at mamas" she replies

"Of course! Also please don't tell me any more about your brother and Naomi I want to at least hold down my breakfast! Lol!"

" I hear you girl! And trust me it is not something I ever want to have to endure again! I mean I am mentally scarred for life you do realise this? I am going to need councelling!" She said

"Just get dressed! I'll be over in about 15 minutes! I've got the car!" I text

I quickly brushed my teeth and made my bed.

I couldn't wait to go to mamas for breakfast. It was a small cafe in the town very intimate, and quaint. There was about 6 tables inside and a small service bar. The little old lady that owned it had sadly passed away a few months ago so her daughter ran the place now. They served the best breakfast there. Everything was cooked to order and always cooked to perfection. It had such a friendly atmosphere to it as well.

I still couldn't shift that dream out of my mind I needed a distraction.

Hmmm what to wear?
