I didn't leave that club last night till I made sure Charm and that nigga got the girl to the ambulance. Hell I couldn't even sleep a night...
I felt terrible... if that was my daughter motherfuckers will be dead.
"Daddy" I lifted my head up seeing my little princess running into the master bedroom "Yes daddies little girl" she smiled trying to get up on the bed.
I had picked her up, setting her down on the bed "are you still coming to my performance? You pinky promise" I sighed totally forgetting about her Ballerina stuff.
"I'll come, daddy going to come for sure" I said with confidence before tickling her ear , she had giggled.
"Now give daddy a kiss" she shook her head.
"Aww you must got a new daddy" she nodded playfully giggling "welp I'm get a new daughter and she having all your clothes" she frowned. "no daddy!" .
Kaiden finally gave in and gave me a big kiss on the cheek.
"Once the performance over with ...we can pick up some fro-yo" she started smiling "Zion why you ain't come back till this morning?" My smile immediately turned to a frown "Babygirl go get ready while I talk to mommy okay?" She nodded before disappearing down the hall.
"I'm really sick of you being insecure...I love you I do but I feel you just ain't finna fit in my life no more" she stared at me "is there someone else in your life you making room for, Zion?" I shook my head.
"If there was anyone I wouldn't be wasting my time or laying up with you" I said before lifting out the king size bed.
"Questions just questions" she said as she wrapped her hair up into a bun.
"Well I'm giving answers to your dumbass questions" I said before walking away from Ruth.

Here I was once again in the hospital due to the same man....broken yeah on the inside literally but not broken on the out.
"You okay, Harley-Quinn?" I smiled once I heard Dèvon's voice "I'm good just sick of this man bothering me" he chuckled leaning over to fix my hair "let me tell you something , if you need me I got you on everything" I smiled looking down.
A soft wet object pressed against my cheek that had me to look up. I seen Dèvon kissing my cheek causing me to have a mini panic attack ,I had quickly pushed his head back pretending to act like none of this had happened.
"Why you being like that...but other times you wouldn't mind being alone with me and getting hit on" I frowned "Dèvon I'm not going to sit here and be seen as a charity case nor am I going to be the one who have my friend thinking we doing stuff behind her back" he had sighed heavily.
Dèvon hands start to find it's way on my arm "you been so caught up on protecting Charm you haven't put much efforts in protecting yourself girl" he said rubbing my hands, staring into my eyes with an unreadable look on his face.
"This doesn't have nothing to do what you just tried to pull" I said lowly as he continue to rub my hands.
"Look I'm just saying I'll love to hang out with you without Charm or them little empty comments, I want to get to know Harley without the Quinn" a smile crept on my face "are you asking me out on a pity play date?" He nodded slowly.

"Ma'am we don't have anymore lemonade is there something else you will like?" I nodded slowly "a glass of vodka along with some wine" the waitress nodding before leaving the table.
I was so over Carl's ways and how he treated me, it's been years since he have been abusing me mentally and physically.
"Girl its a 105 degrees out here and you got on shades, big ass hat, and a dress that's longer than your legs itself" I had nervously scratched the back of my neck "what's going on?" She adds with folded arms.
I breath out heavily as I slowly removed my shades from my face. "Oh my god Robyn!" I placed my hand over her mouth shushing her "mom I just want to get away...be free" I said looking down.
"Why didn't you tell me about this sooner?" She said in disbelief . "Mom I tried to call you but the phone just ranged till it went to voicemail" she looked around as if she was guilty.
"This is my fault I should of taught you how to love, defend yourself, and respect yourself instead of letting you girls go out and do things without my guidance"
I nodded ....Ruth and I is most definitely a walking mess hashtag mistakes.

Kaiden eyes wandered in the crowd looking for her mother and I. once she notice I was there a huge smile grew on her face .
*** "Zion you okay babe?" Ruth asked as she rubbed my back. I wiped the tears from my eyes, Kaiden performance was beautiful and heart filling.
"I'm go start the car up" I mumbled before walking out the building ...the only thing on my mind was that girl and I couldn't live in peace without telling what I had witness.
