TWENTY THREE - Miserable Chanyeol

"What happened to both of you Chanyeol?" His father asked. They already seated on the sofa in Chanyeol's living room.

Chanyeol sighs again before he replied,
"Appa, I'm at fault at this. Her miscarriage is because of me. I accidentally push her from the stairs." Chanyeol made his confession. His face look really gloomy.

"So this is why you look like this hm?" Mr. Park asked his son.

"I know. I look really miserable right now, right? But what can I do. I regretted everything. I regretted for not giving her the attention she needed. I regretted for  not loving her. I regretted for making her like that. I regretted with everything happened to her now." He confessed more this time.

"Wha— Wait, wait, wait. You said you don't want to marry Min Eunhee that we choose for you because you already have someone in your mind that you love. Then what is this now?" It is the time for Mrs. Park to feel weird now. Her facial expression obviously shows confusion and angry on the same time.

"We lied. No, no. Its me who lied. I can't get over that Eunhee left me for some other guy and I don't want to tell you that Eunhee cheated and left our wedding with all the preparation that you made already completed." Chanyeol explained.

His parents and sisters listen to them carefully. For Yoora, she already knew all of his plan. He once blurted all of that to her. Not knowing how to solve the issues. So he made a plan carefully.

Chanyeol is the best friend of Minseok. He always hang out with Minseok at the Hyun's residence. Although Chanyeol is two years younger than Minseok, he is comfortable to hang out around the smaller man.

One night, when he hang out around their house, he saw a cute looking girl entered the house. She looked tired but managed to smile. Chanyeol observed him from afar.

"Who is that Minseok?" He asked his best friend.

"You don't know her? She is your favourite enemy in high school." Minseok replied.

"That is Hyun Soojin?" He replied obviously shocked.

"Yeapp. That is THAT almighty Soojin. Do you want me to call her here? I miss your bickering tho." Minseok smirks.

Minseok knew that Chanyeol once have feeling towards Soojin.

Yes, you read that right. He likes Soojin way before Soojin knew his existence. Yes they were in the same school and they were in the same grade but Soojin is really not a socialist girl. She is just in her own world. Chanyeol tried to get to know her before but he failed miserably without even trying. Soojin already have Oh Sehun that time. That handsome junior of them. He is two years younger than them and that makes Chanyeol treats Soojin that way. She thinks Soojin is into someone younger and handsome. So he decided to change his appearance. He started to style up more and yes, he succeeded being the school heart rob. But not Soojin's heart. Soojin is still the same as before. She is still not aroused with her surrounding and sink deep in her own laboratory world. She doesn't care about boys. The only think she cares is her study.

Knowing how Soojin thinks, Chanyeol entered the school Technology Project team to get closer with her brother, Kim Minseok. Don't get him wrong. He likes the team too but he also want to be close with Soojin's older brother. And one day, she gets to talk to Soojin when Soojin is waiting for his brother to go home together. They talked a little but Soojin's seems not interested with him at all.

A few days after, when he is peeking Soojin in her laboratory, he accidentally bumped into Soojin with her finished science project. That is where he decided to act arrogant and replied to her cockily. He just can't stand to look at the closeness between Soojin and Sehun.

So there is where all of his tease, bicker and fight starts. He doesn't admit that he likes Soojin anymore and started to change his feeling to hate. Their fight continues and one day he decided to sabotages her science project. He knew that the project is important to her so he ruined it because of the hate that grows inside him without he knew that Sehun is just Soojin's cousin.

Minseok knew that Chanyeol used to like Soojin not by his confession but by his act.

Chanyeol found out about Soojin's photography studio when he made a visit to his sub-company, Light Ltd. Their magazine line. He observed Soojin for afar. He decided to invite her as the photographer for his project. That is how Soojin was invited.

And luck decided to be on his side when the reporters came. He drag Soojin along with his problem. He doesn't want the wedding preparations to be left hanging like that. The wedding need to be continue with a new bride. So Chanyeol thinks it is good to use Soojin for that and he can torturing Soojin like what he once promised to Soojin. To take revenge and make her life miserable.

But little did he knew that now not only Soojin, but he suffers too along with Soojin. He never knew Soojin's existence in his life will affect him this bad.

He never confessed too Soojin. He never felt he love Soojin. He just fulfilling his need in that thing by using Soojin's body. Who want to let go a girl like Soojin right? But he never knew his heart got attached after that. When Eunhee came back, he never think about Soojin anymore but within a day Eunhee came, Soojin crashed his heart this bad. Soojin made him feel this way. The way he never felt with anyone, not even Eunhee.

He never replied to Soojin's confession because he thinks he wins in this fight. He wins to made Soojin fall  for him. He finally succeeded in his revenge.

But look at him now. He is the miserable one. He is the one who falls deeply to Soojin.
