I grin as screams erupt from the girls change room.
Charles' head snaps up. "What the hell was that?"
"Sam has this bad habit of appearing- especially when you least expect it," I say grinning.
"Why would she do that?"
"I think that she just does it to see my reaction, but really, most of the time she doesn't even quite know it."
"How can she not know it?"
"I said quite, Charles."
"Oh."
"Mm-hm."
There was nothing to say after that, and I let my thoughts circulate to Sam. Her long, silky blond hair, her smile that twitched when she was suppressing a smile and the dimple in her left cheek, and her grey eyes.
Grey eyes that look like silver, and glow, lit within and shine out like the moon. Eyes that flash when she's flustered, and shine when she's laughing, and glitter when she's happy.
Eyes that look so, strangely, hauntingly familiar...
"Felix!"
"What?"
"I've been calling your name for the past 3 minutes. Are you okay?"
"Uh, yeah."
"Who is Sam?
"Sam is Sam."
"Felix-"
"Hi guys!" Chirps Sam cheerfully.
"Aaaaahh!"
"Here we go again," she mutters underneath her breath.
I stop screaming and laugh.
She glares at me. "Shut up."
"Are you supposed to be here?" Alistair asks crankily.
"Yes." Sam does not bat an eye at this, and Alistair seems flustered.
"You girls are ready, then?" I attempted to divert her attention before she kills him.
She shakes her head at me and I smile sheepishly.
"Yes. Let's go."
