The three of us were now waiting to be seated at a restaurant that Jimin insisted we would love.

Pfft, Please.

It had been too busy and loud on the street to have a real conversation, so Jimin has said he knew just the place that we would be able to get to know each other more.

I internally rolled my eyes. I already wanted this to be over and be back in our hotel room so I could face plant into the fluffy blankets.

"Party for 3? Right this way." The waitress smiled at us with menus in her hand and motioned for us to follow her down an isle of darkly lit booths.

She stopped in front of a booth that had barely any light and a singular candle lantern burning in the middle. There was just enough room for two on either side.

He did this on purpose.

In no way was I letting him sit next to Olivia- I know he would try something. So after he crawled into the right side, I immediately wiggled in beside him. Olivia giggled when I put as much space between us as possible. I gave him a side glare when I saw the smirk on his face as Olivia climbed in across from us.

This was not going to go well.

"So girls, what brings you guys here to sunny California?" Jimin casually started flipping through his menu and had a small smile on his face.

Olivia gave me an expectant look, like she wanted me to answer. So I gave her a look that said you dragged us into this. You'll be the one talking.

"Well," Olivia started, "we're actually from South Carolina. Our parents let us go anywhere we wanted for six months after we graduated. It had always been our dream soo.... here we are." Olivia explained.

Jimin gave a confused look.

"You could've gone anywhere? And you stayed in your country?" He looked blatantly between the both of us.

"Excuse me?" I finally had something to say. This stranger just out right disagreed with our choices. An even stronger dislike than the initial one for this guy bubbled up inside of me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. I'm just saying. If you had the opportunity to go anywhere, why not another country? There's so many different places around the world. So many amazing countries. You may never get the chance again." He finished his little speech and looked at us.

Before I could retaliate, the waitress came back to take our order.

This guy had a lot of nerve. Plus, he seemed about our age, so how would he know? He probably hadn't traveled more than a couple places like anyone else- and he was questioning our choices?

After the waitress started heading back to the kitchen, I immediately turned to Jimin to express my opinion.

"How old are you Jimin?" I asked pointedly.

"20. Why do you wanna know?" He gave me a mischievous grin while he ran his hand back through his dark hair and not-so-subtly scooted closer to me.

"Well we're 19. Assuming that you went to school just like we did, you probably haven't traveled all over the world like you claim is so amazing. Am I wrong?" My ever-so-lasting glare was still pointed at him. I saw Olivia smirk out of the corner of my eye. She thought this was funny.
