You sat upon your bed, turning the pages of your journal. You paused as you saw her name again, Chiaki Nanami.
You were originally part of class 77-B, but when everyone became Ultimate Despair, you left. You were broken with everyone else, but had not felt despair when she died. You merely felt a burning rage against Junko, and something else. Something that pulled you lower then low, the pull of dark magic. You'd taken everything Gundam was willing to share, acting as if you intended to use it with your friends. But you'd merely used it for one thing, love. Chiaki had been a friend of yours for years, and you had never felt much for anyone but her. You refused to let her leave you in the world, especially as it was crashing down into a hellscape.
Sighing you slammed it shut, muttering to yourself in desperation. "Today's the day. Today I will bring you back Chiaki, today I will feel your heart beat again." Standing you slowly walked along your dark apartment, standing over the necromancy symbols you had been making that morning.
You raised your hands, once again beginning to chant. However, now it was working. Your hands became enveloped in a toxic looking black smoke, illuminated with green light. You now heard your voice echoing in your ears as you keep going. "Dark guides of the lost, carry me into the shadows, give me the sight of those who have not passed on, those who have fallen." You opened your eyes, seeing them in the mirror, glowing green as your hands did. "Allow me to cast my body away as the moon rises, and reclaim it as light casts away the nights shadows." With these words you fell into black.
Groaning you opened your eyes, seeing several people standing over you. "What is it you seek, summoner?" Spoke one of them, a hooded figure. "A girl whose time came early. Chiaki Nanami." You stood, not realizing your body stayed on the floor and you were glowing a faint green. "This girls soul has not come to our hands. But we know where it rests." You smiled now, for the first time in years. "Really? Where? Where is she?" They turned and walked, passing through the walls with ease. Quickly you ran after them.
"The soul never left it's body's side. Inside this cairn of suffering, we will not enter, for it is not our dominion." You walked into the elevator now, going down with it. "Chiaki." You muttered, running through the door as the elevator stopped. You slowed and stopped as you saw her. Her body still bloody and speared. You looked about, and finally saw her soul. You walked forward, watching as the soul was curled up, crying. You knelt in front of her, touching her shoulder gently. "Chiaki?" You gently whispered, smiling as she slowly stopped to look up at you. "(F/N)? What are you doing here? How are you even here?" She began, looking at you with almost fear in her eyes. "I used what Gundam knew. I found a way to bring you back to life. You can finally be with us." You smiled wider, watching her reaction carefully. "But what will happen if you do?" You shook your head. "Nothing not worth it to have you back in my life." You pulled her close, hugging her as you slowly stood. "Ok. Then do it." She said, holding you close.
You laid in your apartment. You'd woken up from the spell just after you finished healing Chiaki's body and gave her soul a way back in. You quickly shot up, looking around for her. You ran into your bedroom, then instantly relaxed, seeing her lying there. Calm, perfect, alive. You smiled and walked up to her, sitting by her. You slowly rubbed her cheek, you'd done it, you'd brought back your love to the world.
