In The Dark.

I fell asleep for atleast an hour until i woke up, it was about 8 p.m. jack fell asleep while i was on his lap and so when i got up i made sure he laid his head on the couch so he was finally comfortable.
   I walked to the back to see that all of them were sleeping,  i was bored and put my ear buds in,  blasted music and cleaned some things.
I had the broom in my hand and coincidently "Mi gente" by J balvin came on so i just had to wake brook up so we could dance.
She came with me and brought zach along, he sat on the couch jack was on and watched us.
"TODO MI GENTE SE MUEVE"  We sang.
"you guys know Spanish?!" Zach asked as his jaw dropped.
"Yesss, did i forget to mention we're puerto rican?...oops." Brook laughed while dancing.
"Babe you just got a whole lot hotter."  Zach smiled.
She grabbed zach and they started dancing together , i guess we were  getting pretty loud.
"What the hell are you guys doing, and rose why do you look so cute doing it." I heard jack say.
I turned around to see him smiling.
I wasnt even embarrassed , i love music and dancing and the way everyone can just let go and have a good time.
"Whats it look like we're doing." I laughed as i went over and grabbed his hand.
He laughed and started dancing with us. It was honestly the cutest thing.
Bachata came on and so me and brook sat the guys down and they watched as we danced.
Zach looked like a dog watching a bone while jack looked no different. After a couple of minutes just having a good time and slow song came on, i dimmed the lights (gotta be romantic ya know.) And we started dancing with the guys.
Zach and brook looked like such a good happy couple, i love seeing her happy so that just warmed my heart.
While i was dancing with jack i couldnt help but notice how fucking good he smelled.
"Damnn what cologne do you use?" I asked. (Why would i actually do this? bahaha).
"Thats a secret." He winked.
"Okay okay i see you but just so you know it smells hella good." I laughed.
"Thank you." He smiled.
We made eye contact for the first time since the whole bathroom incident from before.
"I know you were sad back there at the McDonald's." He said as his smile faded into a sad look.
"Its okay, im fine, everything is okay.
I dont really know how to deal with my emotions or even explain them.
Ive always turned to punching things, crying, or telling brook or my parents." I stuttered.
"You can always talk to me you know that right?" He asked.
"Yea i know i know ,im sorry." I said looking down.
He gently cupped my chin with his hand and rubbed my cheek with his thumb while lifting my face back up.
"You have nothing to be sorry about." He stated.
I gave him a smile even though something inside of me just felt broke/missing , when i was with him i forgot about it. 
"i really wanna kiss you." He said as he looked into my eyes and back down at my lips.
"No one is stopping you." I smiled.
He was shocked to hear those words come out of my mouth and im not gonna lie i was pretty shocked as well.
He pressed his lips against mine and next thing i knew we were kissing in the dark. (Story title pun intended.) I guess we kinda forgot that zach and brook were literally 5 feet away from us but that didnt matter and i dont think they cared either.
"okay okay if he gets a kiss i want one." Zach begged.
"Fineee."
Me and jack looked over to see brook and zach share a kiss, we laughed and turned back to eachother.
"Im tired we should go to bed, we've been dancing for 2 hours straight." Jack said.
Its true , it was already 10 when i looked at the clock.
"Totally worth it but yes we should." I replied.
I told zach and brook that it was time to get some sleep. So i turned off the music and we made our way to the beds.
I went inside the bathroom to change while brook followed me in to change too.
" i saw that kiss! get it bestfriend!!" Brook laughed.
"Definitely worth the wait." I blushed.
"Awww." She smiled.
"Im happy to see you and zach are doing just fine." I smiled back.
"Hes honestly the greatest." She blushed.
"Good. You deserve someone great." I said.
We both finished changing.
I had on a pair of shorts with one of jacks oversized sweaters and put my hair in a messy bun.
Brook put on shorts too with one of zachs shirts and she put her hair in french braids to give her the waves she loved in the morning.
Brook got into bed with zach while i got into bed with jack. He laid his head on my chest and i played with his hair until we both fell asleep.
