In The Dark.

°Conversation°

It was about 3 a.m and everyone was asleep or atleast that what i thought. I kept hearing noises so i got up to check it out. I walk over to the bathroom to see that the door is closed but i could see that the light was on through the bottom. I slowly knocked to see who was inside.

  "Hello?" I knocked. No answer.
"Hello, who in here?" I knocked again.
"Im sorry, its me." I recognized the familiar voice which right then and there sounded weak.
"Jonah?"  I asked.
"Yea" he sniffled.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"i guess so."  He replied.
"can i come in? if thats okay with you." I suggested.
"yea its okay." He responded.

After seeing the door open i walk a little closer and look up to see jonah who looked as if he'd been crying for hours, my heart instantly sunk.
Jonah and me have gotten way closer on tour , hes like a brother to me. I've seen him smile, i've seen him sad, I've seen the passion in his eyes while he performing, but i've never seen this side of him before..he seemed broken.

"Jonah, whats wrong?" I asked as i walked over and sat next to him.
" it's..it's stupid." He stuttered.
" i highly doubt that, now spill it marais." I said.
"Just a bunch of feelings..im not good at explaining how i feel." He said as he looked up, tears streaming down his face.
"please dont cry jo" i hear my voice breaking.
"i cant help it , plus if not i'd be punching things and i dont wanna wake anyone up..especially not brooklyn." He sighed.
I froze in realization.
"You still have feelings for her dont you." I said, remembering the weekend at the cabin where he confessed to me about his crush on my bestfriend.
"Guilty." He said as he looked down.
"But why are you crying?" I asked as i placed my head on his shoulder,  hoping he wouldnt feel alone.
"Shes in love with him and has been since the beginning...why do i continue to have feelings for a girl i have no chance with? And even if i did i dont think i could ever possibly do that to zach..they both have equal feelings for eachother maybe even more. What the hell is wrong with me?"  He said as he clenched his fists in frustration.
"Nothing is wrong with you okay?..love does crazy things to people and its hard to understand but everything will work out , have some faith." I half smiled.
"Im trying, i am. Its hard fighting the urge to just go up to her and kiss her..seeing her smile everyday, making eye contact. You have no idea." He said calmly.
"One day you'll find someone." I assured.
We Both got up and shared a hug.
"Now get some rest its late and you have a show tomorrow." I insisted.
" i will, but make me some coffee in the morning." He smiled.
"Sure , now go." I laughed.
"Okay goodnight love ya sis." He said while walking towards the room.
"Goodnight love you too jo." I said while following him.

We both got back into our bunks and fell asleep.
