LUNCH TIME
JAX POV
I stroll into the large cafeteria. Everyone buzzed with excitement as they saw their friends floating in the sea of people. I sighed and sat down, waiting to see when Jade would appear. Suddenly I feel a push on my right shoulder and hear snickering. I turn around to see a group of jocks standing behind me.
"What?" I growl. My fists tighten. All these guys do is cause trouble.
"Aww, look, gay boys feisty." Jordan, the leader basically, smirks. "Oh and hot pink isn't your color." He jokes. I don't bother to look down, I wasn't wearing pink.
"Not all gay people dress like girls. Some just like guys and that's it. And knowing about how some guys can be bitches like you guys is enough to turn me straight." I spit, turning back around to sit properly at my table.
"Oh come on Gay- Jay-" Jordan jokingly stumbles trying to remember my name.
"Jax." I sneer.
"Come on Kax-" Jordan smirks.
"Come on Asswipe- oops I mean Jordan!" I yell, then jump up to meet Jordan's size, at the top of my lungs so everyone can hear. The room goes into silence. Snickers erupt for a second. Until Jordan's nostrils flared in anger and he stepped closer to me.
"What did you call gay boy?!" He yells.
"Jordan, of course. I mean I, Kax, Am just a sweet little gay boy." I smirk, stepping closer aswell. We were about two feet away, but the tension was touching, pushing even.
"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME?!" He screams pressing his chest to mine.
"Jordan." I whisper evilly. He fist raises but I beat him to a hit. My fist connected to his eye. He face reddens and his body tenses.
"YOUR GOING TO PAY!" His eye throbs. "ITS NOT LIKE ANYONE WILL MISS YOU WHEN YOU SIX FOOT UNDER!!ALL YOU HAVE IS THAT WEIRD GIRL THAT SEES CRAZY SHIT. YOU LIFES SCREWED ANYWAY, ASSWIPE." He growls, his fist swings in my face. He repeats about ten times. "Gay people can't fight so this we be easy. Oh and see you in about 60 years in hell!" He yells grabbing my shirt and tossing me as if I was an object. I scramble to my feet, I hit him once and then soon I'm clobbering him. His face is swollen, leaking blood, aswell as mine.
"BREAK IT UP!" I hear and look up to the oh-so familiar voice. Principal Jennings. The red-headed demon.
"Shit." I mumble.
I stand up and so does Jordan. Her mouth thins into a line. Oh, and she's Jordan's mother. "I'll take Jordan to my office, you go to the nurse, I'll talk to you next." And she rushes off with Jordan's wrist clutched between her scary thin fingers.
I slowly make my way to the nurse and plop into the waiting seat. Nurse. Lee instantly gave me ice packs and a disgusted look. After a couple minutes a heard my name being called I looked up to see someone I never expected, nor wanted to hear I got in a fight. My best friend. Jade.
Jade's POV
"Jax, what the hell?" I ask, walking into the nurses office. He had an ice pack pressed to his face.
"Jordan, was talking shit again." He said, putting the ice pack to my face. Jordan Jennings. The wonderful, Jordan Jennings. The asswipe doesn't ever shut up. Always picking on Jax for being gay, and me for "seeing". I sat next to Jax, forgetting about my mission for bandaids. I hugged him, knowing that his tough guy act wasn't always truthful.
"He talked about you Jade." He whispered, his arms still hugging me. My eyes sprinkled with tears. He was such a sweetheart. I don't understand why people have to be so homophobic to him. He's awesome.
