After an hour of sitting at home watching tv I decided doing nothing on a Saturday was not the move. So I called my best friends Jada and Terah to meet me at the mall.
We were in a cute boutique store that sold formal dresses for teen girls.
"Can you guys believe Deontae doesn't want to go to the dance with me?", whined Jada.
"No, I really can't believe he would rather smoke weed and gang bang with his homeboys all day.", I said sarcastically.
"Shut up. Everyone can't find Mr. Prince Charming like you Cinderella."
We all laughed.
"Paris has a point Jay. Maybe if you weren't so into hood niggas you'll find someone as interested in all the things you like to do."
"I don't know why I'm so attracted to them but I just can't help it. Besides he loves me." Jada says cockily.
Terah and I roll our eyes but saying no more about the topic.
"So Terah are you going with Conner?" I ask.
"Yes! We're going to be best dressed. Our colors are white and gold." she smiles still looking through dresses.
"Glad to know you're happy." mumbled Jada.
Terah's head shot up ready to shoot a comeback but I quickly hold up my dress showing them.
"Guys isn't this just gorgeous?""It's beautiful go try it on!" Terah says shooing me away to the dressing room.
When I come out to show off the dress they're both in dresses telling each other how cute they look. I smile and loudly clear my throat.
They turn around noticing I'm in their presence again. In unison they scream, "O-M-G, YOU LOOK AMAZING!"
"Thanks y'all, I think I'm getting this."
"You should! Now let's go, I'm starving.", Jada says clutching her stomach.
++++++++++++++++++++++++When I get in the car I realized I left my phone on the seat. I have 15 calls, 30 text, and 3 voicemails. The calls were a mix from my mom and Miquel. Only my mom leaves voicemails so I didn't bother checking them. All the the text were from Miquel. I'm not saying I like when he's worried but I think it's cute.
I called to see what my mom wanted first. Eggs.
On the ride home I talked to my husband who kept crying about how he hated his job at McDonalds. By the time I calmed him down and disconnected the call I finally arrived home.
In the driveway I see my brother and Dana leaning against her car almost making love.
I rolled the window and yell, "Get a room you nasties!"
They pull apart with blushed faces.
"Hi Paris", they both say at once.
I wave while driving away to park in the garage. When I walk inside the house it's pretty quiet. I search for my mom but she's nowhere to be found downstairs. I finally find her laid across her bed sleeping. I lean over her to give her a kiss on the cheek and whisper, "I love you." I close the door quietly behind me and head to my palace.
As soon as I enter I notice my bed is a mess as if someone has been asleep. I become furious.
I decide I'm too tired to be mad so lay across the bed. But I'm startled by the figure that has just walked out of my bathroom. Antony. My body became really tense as I realize he has on nothing but a towel and is dripping wet.
"What the hell are you doing in here?" I say closely.
"This is my house right? I decided to take a shower."
"Correct me if I'm wrong but the last time I checked there are 7 full bathrooms in this house of YOURS.", I say looking away.
I can feel his presence getting closer to me as he brushes my hair out of my face. "I wanted to surprise you though."
"GET AWAY FROM ME!"
"No. I want you. I know you want me to", he hissed. I can smelled alcohol on his breathe.
"Please leave me alone!"
"I said NO!" he yelled while slapping me and pushing me on the bed.
And the rest was a blur...
