Chuunin Exams Part 2

Forest of Death.  Has a nice ring to it.  Mizuki was being lazy and was curled up inside a pouch I now carry specially for her.  It looks just like a weapons pouch but I keep it open.

"Hey Bara!  Can I interview you?"

I looked over to see Konohamaru.  I sighed but nodded.

"Ok first question.  Are you worried about the exams?  I mean you are taking them alone and all."

I shrugged.  "Not really.  I'm confident in my abilities and I have Mizuki after all."

"Who's Mizuki?"

I reached inside her pouch and pulled her out.  She blinked up at me lazily.

"This is Mizuki.  Isn't she adorable?"

Konohamaru stared in shock.  "That's a dragon.  You have a dragon."

I smiled and nodded.  Mizuki flew out of my hands and landed on his head.  She then curled up and closed her eyes.  I laughed at her antics.

"She likes you Kono'."

He seemed uncomfortable so I picked her up and put her back in her pouch.

"Ok.  Do you enjoy being a ninja?"

"I do. "

"What's your motivation for being a ninja?"

I froze.  Should I tell him the truth?

"My motivation.... is to kill the person responsible for my clans murder."

Konohamaru shrunk back at the intensity in my voice and whispered, "So much like Sasuke."

"Is that all Kono'?"

He nodded and left.

I did what I do best and zoned out the rules and blah blah blah.  I signed a consent form  and got a Heaven scroll.

Apparently I had gate 6.  The Chuunin at my gate looked confused when he saw only me.

"Where's your team?  The exam will start in a few moments."

"I'm sure my team is at their gate.  Im doing the exam by myself."

He looked appalled but didn't say any more. 

The signal was given and my gate was swung open.  I quickly dashed through the gates and into the forest.

I was only in the for about twenty minutes before I spotted a trap.

An Earth scroll was just laying on the ground.  Amateurs.

I picked up Mizuki and whispered, "Look for any traps in the air and if there are none grab the scroll."

She nodded before setting off.  Apparently all the traps were in the ground because Misuki quickly swooped down and stole the scroll.

Easy as pie.  She returned to me and I took off towards the tower.  It only took ten minutes to get to the tower.

I dropped the scroll on the grounds and toed both of them open.  There was a puff of smoke and Kakashi was there.

He looked dumbfounded to see me standing there without a scratch.

"Bara?  But it's only been thirty minutes?!?!?!?"

I shrugged.  "Im just that good."

He rolled his one visible eye.

"Just get in the tower.  You have to wait five days for the others to finish now."

I shrugged and walked into the tower.
