I jolted awake to the sound of heavy winds, and then a noise at the window. suddenly someone fell through the window and onto my bedroom floor. Before I could scream a hand came over my mouth. "Shhh. Ivy, it's me Caleb."

"What the hell are you doing in my room in the middle of the night? And how did you even get up here?" I demanded.

"Your in grave danger. We must leave now." He threw the covers off me, and began rummaging through my drawers throwing my clothes into a large duffel bag.

"I'm not going anywhere with you. Your a psycho!" I yelled back at him. He picked me up over his shoulder. "Hey put me down!" All of a sudden he jumped out the window. I screamed loudly because I felt positive I was gonna die, and somehow he landed right on his feet. He took off running through the woods with me on his shoulder. He was so strong. He didn't even seem to struggle with my weight on him as he was weaving in and out of treed as quickly as possible. Finally we reached what looked like an old abandoned shed. He went inside, shut the door, and locked it. "What the hell do you think your doing?!" I screamed at him.

"Well you obviously don't think your being kidnapped or you wouldn't talk to me that way." He murmured sarcastically under his breath. "I'm so sorry to have put you in danger this way. If there were any other way I would've taken it." He pushed me into the nearest room, inside I found Eric and Jonathon sitting on a leather couch.

"What do you mean I'm in danger? I'm not staying here a second longer unless you tell me what's going on." I figured if I gave an ultimatum he would have to listen to me or he would only make it worse, and he knew that. He sighed.

"We aren't like other people. We are being chased by some very bad people, and by association with us they are now after you too." He said it so slowly I knew he was censoring it in his head. Yet I couldn't breathe due to the fact that this seemed dangerously real. It couldn't be. Could it? "Normally we would've left you where you were without another word from us, but now your safer with us than on your own." He said concerned. When I saw the pain in Caleb's eyes I knew this was really happening. "I can't tell you how sorry I am."

"So what happens now." I asked quietly.

"You will stay with us. We will protect you. I promise." He lead me to a room at the very end of the hall. When I looked around I noticed it was the only room with a bed.

"What about you and your brothers? Where will you sleep?" He figited uncomfortably.

"We don't get tired very often...." I knew there was more to the story, but I didn't investigate any further.

"I'm kinda tired..." I hinted. He stood there for a long time awkwardly.  Then his eyes lit up with realization.

"Oh I'm sorry. Goodnight." He said, and then exited the room closing the door behind him. I flopped onto the bed closing my eyes, but I knew this would be a sleepless night.
