Outside was the youngest brother, Jonathan, but sprouted out of his back were two large wings. I was so scared yet starstruck by the beautiful black feathers growing out of this young boy. Then he began to fly into the trees, but when he came back out he was a regular raven. Just like ones that disturbed me and circled around my house. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I whipped around with my hand in a fist ready to hit the person who startled me, but the person caught my my arm before I could strike. It was Caleb and standing behind him in the doorway was Eric. I ripped my arm from his grip and backed away quickly. "What are you?" I questioned acidly at them.
"Raven sons. We won't hurt you. You don't need to be afraid." He held out his hand like a criminal showing he had no weapons.
"I beg to differ." I spat back at him.
"I swear. We are the offspring of a member of a cult called the Raven Boys. Our mother is human. Just like you, but her partner was a Raven Boy. After my mother had us he left realizing the mistake he made. We had a normal childhood but when we turned thirteen we started going through changes."
"Raven changes..." I clarified.
"Yes. When we found out about the Raven Boys it also came with a price. The cult rules were broken, and they had to be fixed. They are coming. To kill us." I gasped loudly. This was all so much to take in. "We left our mother as soon as we found out so she wouldn't be apart of the consequences of our father's actions and have been on the run ever since. Then we met you." Jonathon came in with a grin, obviously unaware of what had just happened. "If I- If we had known we would have never asked for your aid in the first place. I'm so sorry." He put out his hand, and I slapped it away. "Just leave me alone Caleb. Not only did you put me in danger, but you brought me into your troubles, and you lied about the reason. Three strikes your out Caleb!" I yelled at him. He looked frozen in his place as if he didn't know what to say or do. "Just get out!" i screamed. I threw the pillow at him as the door quickly shut, and all the boys out. I'm going insane. This has to be some sick, sick dream. A twisted trick of fate. I needed to make a decesion. To forgive. Or to run. Whatever my next move was, the outcome will be unimaginable.
