When I woke up I was the one lying on the hammock, and the three boys peered over me. I jumped back startled causing the hammock to flip over, and dump me on the ground with a hard thump. "Sorry. Are you okay?" One of the boys said. I looked up to see the oldest looking boy with dark black hair like the rest but kind brown eyes holding out a hand to help me up. He towered over me when I was standing, so he looked like a giant or god of some kind standing over me

"Yeah I'm fine." I took his hand, and he pulled me gently to my feet. I brushed the dirt off my shorts and looked back up at the boys.

"We apoligize greatly for barging in like this.My brothers and I are so thankful for your generosity in saving my younger brother from his his foolish mistake-" He immediately stopped himself as if he had said too much, but before I could think much about it he began talking again. "My name Caleb, and this is Eric and Johnathon." He gestured at each boy when he said their name. Why don't they speak for themselves? I thought.

"I'm Ivy. You talk very formally. Where are you from?" I asked.

"We aren't from here." He said simply. I wanted to know more, but I didn't want to pry, and he didn't look interested in telling me any more. "We won't over stay our welcome. We'll leave now." He looked around quickly, and with that he began walking towards the back gate. He looked so nervous. I was concerned.

"If you need anything...I'm here. It was nice to meet you." I said. It sounded so awkward since I'd just met them.

"It was nice to meet you too Ivy. I just wish it was under better circumstances." He said, and left with the boys. That was so weird, and what a strange coincidence that they showed up after the birds and the crazy wind. I wonder how that youngest boy got hurt like that in the first place? My mind was racing with questions, but I decided to ignore them because they weren't likely to come back and there was no sense in worrying about it. I walked inside, and got dressed in my pajamas which consisted of a oversized tshirt. "Goodnight!" I yelled down to my mother. I crawled into my bed, and went to sleep.
