White Mist

Chapter 1

  Cinder happily joined Ava's game on Roblox. Ava was playing with another girl, Miakostic. Personally, Cinder had known Ava a lot longer and preferred to hang out with her instead. She just wasn't interested in talking to Mia. Cinder sighed and found them both in the game. "Hey," Cinder said. "Hi," they replied. 

  Thus began the Roblox journey. After that, they played often. Ava was still a favorite to Cinder, and she appreciated the moments when they got to talk alone. Sometimes it was better talking alone. Suddenly, the ToothDicks were born, a groupchat filled with the most fabulous Poppyseeds in the fandom. They all talked quite a bit for some time, and Cinder realized that Mia was actually a really fun person to talk to. She enjoyed being around her a lot more than she did when they first met. Cinder and Mia were Shasta and Maryanne's daughters, and every day they talked more and more. Suddenly, one day in November, Mia asked the group if anyone wanted to FaceTime. Now, at this point Cinder had never actually FaceTimed any of her online friends. Only two or three people on google hangouts, not even showing her face. Yet here she was, giving her email out  to Mia. Cinder didn't know what motivated her to do that, but something told her she needed to. Minutes later, they started the call. Both nervously covered their camera, laughing a bit. After a few minutes they were talking and playing with slime as if they've been facetiming for months now.   

    Every day after that, they called each other and talked about life. They played Roblox together happily, and Cinder was the happiest she'd been in a long time.
