The next day I have a gift wrapped up on my dresser.

It is an all purple wrapping paper with a gold bow on it.

I walk over to it and I look at it.

There is a note next to it.

Just cause I thought you needed this.

I open the gift and I see a purple Lakers jersey.

I take the jersey out of the box and I see the number zero on it.

I turn it around and I see 'KUZMA' on the back of it.

I look inside of the box and there is a Lakers ticket in it.

Had to have my girl in my number.

The ticket is for tonights game.

Kyle is at a light practice before his game.

He should be back soon.

I go to my closet and I grab my white jeans.

I make sure my purple vans are unpacked and I look at my outfit for tonight.

After practice I go back home.

I walk into my apartment and I hear sniffling.

"Shorty? You alright?" I asked walking towards the sniffles.

"Kyle?" Danielle says shocked. Her voice is coming from her room so I make my way there.

I see Danielle whipe a few tears from her face.

"What's wrong?" I asked her. I already know the answer.

"Nothing!" She says. "I'm fine!"

"Your not fine if your crying." I say.

"No, really I'm fine. I saw a video of something really upsetting and I got emotional."

I make a confused face. "What video made you cry?"

Danielle thinks for a second. "You know, those videos were the parents suprise their kids when they come home from the militarily!"

Wow I can't believe she lied to me two times in a row.

I nod my head signaling I understand.

"Alright, let's go do something to get your mind off the video."

"No. You needa rest up for your game." Danielle says.

"I can relax and rest up with you!"

"No, no. Really, go rest!"

"Okay." I pick Danielle up and I take her to the living room with me.

I place her on the couch and I sit next to her.

She tries to leave but I pull her back down.

"Let me go!" She laughs.

"No, your my teddy bear!" I tighten my grip around her every time she tries to get up and leave.

"Fine, you win!"

"I always win!"

"Mhm. Sure!" Danielle smiles.

We both watch a movie before we get ready for the game.
