TFIL Adoption?!

A/N - alrighty. I am a piece of shit and I am sorry. I have had this chapter like half finished for awhile but there has been a lot of shit going on in my life so... yeah. Excuses. But please enjoy this piece of shit filler chapter, it's really just a set up for the next chapter...

Everyone goes home happy and satisfied, food in their bellies and Iyla a permanent part of their rather... odd... family. The room that was once Colby's is being turned into Iyla's. The house opts to go shopping for everything a toddler needs as they have literally nothing. They decide to split up, making the process easier. Devyn, Elton, Colby, and Iyla with get clothes and a few toys for the toddler while Corey, Sam, and Aaron go to Costco for kid friendly foods and drinks. The group doing clothes can only hope the one getting food focuses of the task instead of dicking around like they normally would (Corey).

They get the toddler clothes first, finding out she despises pink (Devyn is a bit disappointed but doesn't let the toddler know). They get her many different types of clothing; mostly consisting of shirts and pants, Devyn does manage to sneak a few (4) really cute dresses without Iyla noticing. They also get her some sweaters, jackets/ hoodies (just one as they plan on having her main jackets from their merch), boots, sandals, tennis shoes, and everything else Devyn decides they need. The next stop is the toy store, they let the toddler pick anything she wants (within reason). She mainly goes for Legos and books, but they see her eye a few other things such as a really cute fuzzy blanket, a stuffed animal and some games. They throw them into their cart.

Costco is a different story altogether. Aaron is the only one of the threesome actually doing what was set out to do. Sam and Corey are running around the isles and hiding from the tallest. Aaron doesn't care, choosing to shop and leave the duo behind when he finishes shopping and heads to pay. He had, indeed, noticed other things being put into the cart such as; cookies, a cake, muffins, 3 bottles of wine, a bottle of tequila, a massive bottle of rum and another of vodka. While Aaron had actually gotten things such as applesauce, snack packs, juice pouches, fruits/vegetables, and chicken nuggets (well, more as they already eat a fuck ton of chicken nuggets). He is at the check line - where employees check the receipt and then your cart, when Sam and Corey decide that they want a ride home.

Everyone gets home at the same time. Iyla is asleep, nestled in Devyn's arms while Colby and Elton get the numerous bags out of the car and into the house. Elton only looks at Corey with his signature resting bitch face when he sees all of the alcohol, Aaron does take credit for the wine though, as he says the adults should have a small celebration of their own later that night. With everything put away about an later they are all tired, deciding to chill on the couch and play video games.

The panic comes suddenly, like a kick to the balls. Devyn had been the one to ask about how they are going to handle Scott, Brennen, Jason, David, and Liza the next day. Everyone had looked to the woman with blank faces before chaos ensued.

A/N - Sorry again guys for the really shitty chapter, but I needed something to set up a meeting between some of the others and hopefully add more of the chaos that is TFIL and their friends!
