Alicia was dancing to a pulsing beat in her dream. She swayed as it progressively got louder and louder until she finally had to fall to her knees and cover her ears. Finally, her eyes shot open and she slammed her hand down on her phone, silencing it. Once it was quiet, she grabbed her phone and scrolled through her notifications. A text from Killian stood out and she swiftly read it, becoming disappointed.

Got called into work early today, can't drive you to school. Sorry, love you babe.

She let her head fall back into her pillow, deciding to simply skip today. Her mind drifted back into sleep land and she willfully allowed sweet, sweet sleep to overtake her.

Eliot arrived the school right on time, but was surprised to find no black G Wagon or a feisty, freckled girl in the parking lot. Perhaps she'd gotten a ride from someone else; or, best case scenario, she actually dumped him. But, seeing how close they were yesterday, that was unlikely. Still, a man could dream.

Pulling into his reserved spot, he exited the patrol car oozing confidence and it was almost like he was the blood in the sea of insecure sharks. Not letting the longing or jealousy of any of the teens bother him, he entered the office to see if he had any special things to do today. Usually he just cruised the halls, but today it seemed that Julia, the secretary, had a request.

"Sorry to make you go all the way to the other side of town, but we've had an unexcused absence and neither the student or parent has picked up our calls. We're sending you to the residence of," She glanced down at her sheet as if she didn't have the name memorized by now after years of sending officers to this very same location. "Alicia O'Reilly"

Eliot didn't know whether to let his face go slack with foreboding or to smirk with anticipation. It seemed that his face held the latter expression and Julia laughed.

"Don't worry, just don't let her see any weakness and you'll be fine," She patted him on the arm and sent him on his way. Once he was situated in his patrol car he radioed Jack, the previous school monitor.

"What's up, El"

"I told you not to call me that, Jack,"

"Then what else am I supposed to call ya?"

"Eliot. My name." He sighed, "but that's not what I called about,"

"Ah, I see. Having trouble with those god forsaken teenagers?" Eliot wanted to reach through the phone and smack him. He thought that he of all people would have some sympathy.

"Yes. One in particular," He heard Jack suck in a breath. "Alicia O'Reilly. Are you familiar?"

"Familiar?" Jack chuckled dryly, "I know that girl inside and out. She's a handful," Eliot didn't exactly like Jack's wording.

"How so?"

"Well for one, you wouldn't believe the amount the times she offered me head to get away with skipping school," Eliot felt shame grip him and pondered breifly if he was getting played by the brunette beauty.  "Don't get sucked into her little games, she's a real seductress that one,"

The more he thought, the more excuses his brain thought up in her defense. "Did she ever interact with you outside of necessity?"

"Nope," Eliot almost sighed in relief. "I made boundaries right when I caught wind of her infamous reputation. If I were you, I'd do the same,"

Eliot thanked him for the info and continued his drive in silence, thoughts racing through his mind. He didn't think for much longer as he pulled up outside of the address, heart pounding.
