She dragged her toes through the silky water, watching the purple tinted water part in the path of her skin. James held her hand as his lips trailed along her neck, his excitement irrepressible.
"It's so hot that you asked me to do this with you," he murmured into her skin and Alicia felt her eyes roll. She hadn't wanted James in particular, but he was attractive and most importantly, he was fun. "and in a police officer's backyard, no less,"
"Yeah yeah, take off your pants, I'm already in my underwear," James swiftly pulled his pants off, desperate to stay in the good graces of the school's infamous green eyed rebel. Satisfied, Alicia reached behind herself, grasping her bra clasp. James was bouncing from foot to foot in excitement and maybe a couple nerves.
A sliding glass door was heard opening and Alicia had no time to process anything before James was just a blur leaping back over the fence. She sighed and looked towards the house to face the consequences.
"Hello?" The man called out questionably, not approaching any closer.
"I don't bite, you can come close enough so that I atleast don't have to yell," She nonchalantly replied, not even bothering to glance at him as he walked cautiously closer.
"Get off my lawn!" He demanded as he continued his slow approach.
"Get off my ass, old man," She shot back and smirked as she watched his brows furrow. Now that she could make out his facial features, she found herself pleasantly surprised. He was gorgeous in a boyish, authoritative way. "Excuse me? You do realize that you're trespassing on the property of a, now very pissed off, cop, right?" His face held it all. He was not amused.
"What's your name? Eliot, right? The populars can't keep your name off their tongues," She kept her infuriating smirk on as she sat down and began lounging on one of his poolside chaises. "I can see why,"
Taken aback, Eliot scowled. She was so young, what was she doing? "Why were you trespassing anyways? And why didn't you leave with your boyfriend?" He knew that the angry approach wouldn't work with this one. He'd dealt with angsty teens just like this one before, he was a police officer after all. He would humor her, for now.
"Isn't it clear?" Alicia gestured to her provocative state and bit her lip. She was going to win this man over. "I was going to go swimming. In your pool. Naked," Eliot remained silent so she continued. She knew she could bend him to her will with only her words. "In fact, I'd still like to take a dip, so if you want to join me you're welcome to," She stood and waltzed around him, whispering in his ear on the way past. "The only catch is: no clothes allowed,". Alicia tugged lightly on the hem of his t-shirt, but her hand was pushed away.
"You must think you're the shit, huh?" Alicia was stunned into silence at this man's reaction. "I'm a cop. You think I don't have young, explicit girls trying to use their bodies to get they want from me every single day?" Eliot lightened his tone. "You're just a kid, you're more than your body. Be yourself and be respectable," he placed a hand on her shoulder and bent down to grab her discarded shirt and pants.
Placing them into her limp hands, he offered her a ride home.
"No, I'll call someone," Alicia pulled out her phone and dialed a number, waiting impatiently as the line rang. She spoke a few words into the phone and then began making her way towards the front of the house. She hadn't wanted Eliot to follow her, but he insisted on waiting with her.
As they sat side by side on the concrete driveway, Alicia had time to think. Eliot must've thought that he'd shut her down, but she was not a quitter. She knew her opportunity would come, and she would just keep pushing until she found her way in.
