Lara is no ordinary woman in love. She's a mermaid that thinks she has a sense of Justice. Oil spillage and other environmental hazards are affecting marine life, including her niche. She has had about enough of this nonsense, because she intends on doing something about it.
She is a full adult and can now walk on land. She ventures onto land with power of persuasion: her eloquence, siren abilities, an uncanny superhuman strength and manipulation of water, her natural element. This is not enough though because humans might be weak, especially the male when compared to merman's, but they are never to be trusted. She's about to find that out, when she surprisingly finds herself in a rat race of romance and all that comes with it.While trying to boycott haters that have a general idea of what she is and has to offer, keeping her secret from Olamide (the guy of her dreams), and trying hard not to forget her purpose for being on land, she's faced with too many crossroads. She has spent too long on land, but she knows that once she returns to her riverine abode she'll be breaking section one of the Marine code of conduct. The penalty is just too much for her to handle and how is she going to know if Olamide, the player (not just a footballer) isn't just playing her or worse just intoxicated with siren overdose.
