Willow's POV

"The last thing you want is to be known as the guy who is friends with the girl who made her best friend go missing." The words came out of my mouth before I could even think about saying them.

I grab my bag and walk away knowing that my big mouth would say even more if I had stayed. This was definitely not how I pictured this day going.

After walking for a few seconds I hear the chair scrape against the ground. I sigh knowing what's going to happen next.

"Willow, wait!" Felix yells.

"Aish, this kid doesn't know when to stop." Getting slightly frustrated.

"Willow," he grabs my shoulder making me turn around. "Why do you get to decide whether I hang out with you or not? I don't care what the others say."

This kid sure knows how to make a girl speechless, even if he's only been here for a few days.

"Why are you so adamant about being my friend? Why do you keep insisting on getting closer to me and becoming the center of attention ?" Curiosity is running through my veins at this point.

"I don't know, honestly. Maybe it's because you seem like the only genuine person at this school. Maybe it's the whole aura you give off." He sticks his hands in his pockets seeming shy. This kid really is something.

"And what would that aura be?" I cross my arms over my chest.

"The whole care-free, doesn't care about anything anyone says aura." I chuckle and turn away so he doesn't see the slight tint in my cheeks.

Why does he have to be this cute? What am I saying.

"Come on, can't we be friends? Pleaseee?" This kid is actually giving me the puppy dog eyes right now.

"Wah, fine just don't say I didn't warn you."

Felix pulls the biggest smile and slugs his arm over my shoulders and takes my sunglasses and puts them on himself.

"Are you always this close and touchy with your friends." I say slapping his arm off my shoulder and laughing.

This is weird. I am definitely not used to having a friend like this.

"What was I too much?" He says with a worried tone.

"Hmm, maybe a little. I'm just not used to having someone be this close with me."

"Ah okay personal space. Check." I laugh at his mental note.

"You better prepare yourself for the stares and whispers that you're gonna get. Also, you are basically sacrificing any chances of you having other friends." I say while readjusting the bag on my shoulders.

"Welp as long as you are down to have pizza at midnight and have movie marathons, than I will be perfectly fine."

I give him a look before the bell goes off.

"Prepare yourself cause you are now going to be an outcast."

Super short chapter I know, don't kill me please but this just had to get out of the way for the real story to start.

Okay can we talk for a sec about felix and movie marathons cause i feel like that is 100% something he would do.

Anyways next chapter you should expect some fluffy shiz and introduction of more characters
