Willow's POV
Have you ever gotten the feeling that you're being watched? That is how I feel wherever I go mainly cause everyone is watching me. They all blame me for what happened to her. No matter how hard I tried to tell them that it wasn't me and it wasn't my fault they never believed me. They all avoid me like I have the plague. They think that I can't hear their whispers, and no one comes near me.
Even though it happened years ago, they all act like it happened just yesterday. Trust me it feels like it too. There isn't a single day I don't think about it. School is a place most kids hate. I am no exception to that. In a smaller town like Dawn Runs everyone hears about things the second they happen, so if a couple breaks up it could quite possibly make the town's newspaper. The whole town immediately blames the thing that makes the most sense as most people do. That's why they blamed me first. That's also why they blamed my father first.
The town is known to be a place where people frequently go missing which is probably the reason nobody ever moves here. Until he moved here.
I had gotten used to the stares of the people in the town, but he screwed everything up. No matter how how hard everyone tried to tell him to stay away he persisted. He continued to get closer and closer to me which ruined his chances of ever being normal. He didn't seem to mind though because his curiosity always brought him back to me.
Stupid kid.

Felix's POV
The day was finally here. The day my parents would move everyone yet again. This is the second move within just a year. First it was Sydney to Seoul. Then it was Seoul to some place called Dawn Runs. I wasn't exactly thrilled to be moving somewhere entirely new after just making friends and settling in a new place. Not to mention the school year had already started. It was nice though because we weren't given any specific dress code which meant no uniforms, which is different from from my last two schools.
I didn't have much of a choice anyways.
Technically I wouldn't be starting school until the following week in order to help unpack the new house and figure out how to get around the town. According to my parents it was significantly smaller than Seoul so it shouldn't be too hard to get around without getting lost. Plus from the pictures I've seen the new house is nice and "homey".
The journey here was a long one and the longer we drove it seemed like the farther we were from the big cities.
After what seemed like an eternity of listening to music and staring out the window into nothingness we were finally in Dawn Runs. At least that's what the welcoming sign said. The scenery outside slowly turned from trees and nature into suburbs and typical things you would find in a town.
After a few more minutes we turned onto a road which I'm guessing was the one we would be living on. Then I saw the house I would soon be living in. It seemed even bigger than in the pictures. We got out from the car and looked at the house which seemed to surprise everyone and not just me.
"Well how about we all start taking in the boxes we have while we wait for the other truck to come?" My mom said.
"Yeah good idea! Everyone take a box!" My dad said while opening the back of the car.
I sigh before taking out my headphones and grabbing a box.
Right as I start to walk towards the house I see someone walk out of the house next door. I pause as I take a closer look at the person who just walked out. It looked to be a girl around my age wearing army green overalls with headphones in. While I was looking at her she turned her head to see what was going on then quickly turned around and walked away.
