Chapter Four- Mommy Dearest

Tony's POV

We reach a deserted beach in Johannesburg, several ships beached along the shore. Loud machinery can be heard inside one of the cargo ships.

"Here we go." I lead Zoey, Steve and Thor inside the ship. We can hear voices and shouting the further we go in.

"I always say, "Keep your friends rich and your enemies rich, and wait to find out which is which." Ultron's metallic voice can be heard.

"Tony Stark used to say that." I grin slightly from within my suit at Ulysses Klaue's words. "To me. You're one of his."

"You think I'm one of Stark's puppets? His hollow men?" Ultron's voice grows angry. I glance at Zoey, who's brow is furrowed.

"I didn't build him to be angry." She whispers. Steve gently touches her arm.

"Stark is nothing!" Ultron shouts. "Don't compare me with Stark! He's a sickness! The Redbird built me to be pure and clean!"

"Junior." I sigh as the four of us enter the loading bay. "You're gonna break your old man's heart."

"If I have to." Ultron turns to us. Ulysses runs off as the Maximoff twins tense up.

"Nobody has to break anything." Thor reasons.

"Clearly you've never made an omelet." Ultron's words make me chuckle. 

"He beat me by one second." I laugh and look at Zoey. "Did you use my voice and personality when you built the interface?"

"He's been in your programs, idiot." Zoey doesn't take her eyes off Ultron as she answers me. "He killed JARVIS out of anger, that's not a program I would ever build."

"And yet, here we are, mother." Ultron mocks her. Zoey's face is set. "The only child you're ever going to have, Zoey Redbird. You get what you're given, and I'm going to give you a lot."

Zoey's face is expressionless, but it is Steve that steps up beside her.

"You are Loki's sceptre, not Zoey's work." He says strongly. "You infected her work. You are a virus, nothing more."

"Captain America; God's righteous man." Ultron taunts him now. "Pretending you could live without a war. I can't physically throw up in my mouth, but-"

"If you believe in peace, then let us keep it." Steve reasons.

"I think you're confusing peace with quiet." The Maximoff girl rolls her eyes and glares at me. Zoey notices her movements.

"You two can still walk away from this." She tells them. He compassion overrules her anger over Ultron. "I know you've suffered. We can help you."

The twins ignore her words. Wanda raises her hands.

"What's the vibranium for?" I ask.

"I'm glad you asked that, because I wanted to take this time to explain my evil plan." Ultron laughs and turns to his minions. "Shoot them."

We instantly split apart. Steve runs off after the Maximoff boy while Zoey remains to fight off the Ultron's controlled robots. Thor follows the girl and I dodge Ultron's blasts before returning my own.

Zoey's POV

I use my forcefields to crush several robots, trying to dispose of them all so I can go help the others. Another two begin to shoot at me, but I take them down before one comes up on my back, pushing me onto the ground.
