The next morning Colson and I pack our things and head back to L.A. We left a couple days early only because I couldn't stand to be in Italy anymore. The whole thirteen hours we were on the plane ride, I was silent. Colson didn't try to talk to me only because he knew it was best to let me have my quiet time and rethink a lot of things. I still haven't answered the boys and I felt bad only because they didn't do anything except for Calum. I might just answer to Michael...
When we land we quickly get off and got our things and got to the car before most paparazzi showed up. I put my things in the trunk and got in the passenger's seat and grab my blanket I brought and covered myself.
"Want something to eat?" Colson asks and I shrug.
"It's almost midnight here so what's open?" I ask, looking at the time as Colson starts to drive.
"Golden arches is always open, uh I know In an Out is open-"
"In-N-Out please." I smile and he nods and drives to the closest one.
After getting the food, Colson drives to my appartment where we crash. Colson was in the guest room watching TV while I was listening to all of the voicemails left by Calum, Ashton, Luke and Michael. I had teary eyes as the voicemails grew to the boys actually crying, except for Calum..he was already crying. I sigh and decided to text Michael.
Me: Hey Michael... Sent at 1:10am
Since the boys were most likely on stage at the moment I knew I wasn't going to get a text back so I decided to text DJ, knowing she was up with Ray.
Me: DJ, I'm back in LA... 1:11am
Dee: Oh goodie! Come over tomorrow! Your neice misses you dearly! 1:12am
Me: Will do! What time? 1:12am
Dee: Anytime :) My house is no longer hauntedd, turns out it was Barry who was in the house crying cause he was doing a try not to cry challenge and the only reason i couldn't hear him was because my ears were stuffy. Speaking of Barry, he stopped by today to help out with Ray :( It was kind of sad because I miss him still... 1:20am
Me: At least he still cares?? 1:28am
Dee: Yeah..he told me he does and that even though he's still a little hurt, I'll always be in his heart :) 1:35am
Dee: Uh oh, Rayray is crying mommy duties calls, see ya tomorrow :) Love you best friend! 1:35am
I smile and put my phone on the charger and allow sleep to take over me. The next morning I get up around ten and take a shower. I change into a Gucci hoodie with shorts and I put on some vans. I leave my room and head to the kitchen to grab some water. I hear Colson snoring and I walk into the room and smile, seeing him sprawled out on his stomach.
"Mr. Baker." I say and he groans and looks at me with a smirk.
"You calling me that now?" He asks his a raspy chuckle and I smile innocently
"Maybe. Get up, we're going to DJ's house." I smile and he nods and gets up and starts to get ready.
By the time Colson was out the shower and dressed, we go down to my car and head to DJ's house. When I pull up to her house, the door instantly opens and Cameron waves at us. I smile and we both get out the car and head inside. Colson and I enter, Colson closing the door after him, and we go to the living room where DJ was playing with Ray.
"She's adorable." Colson smiles and DJ thanks him and I sit in front of the two and Ray looks at me with a toothless grin and I couldn't help but smile back.
"She's got your nose." I say as Ray was passed over to me
"She does and she has Cameron's eyes."
"She's truly a beauty." I smile and Colson sits next to me and we both play with Ray.
"How are you feeling?" I head DJ ask and I sigh and look at her as Colson takes Ray and both him and Cameron sit on the couch and start talking about another topic.
"I'm stil getting over it. I texted Michael last night but he hasn't responded. It's night time there so I'm sure he wont respond until like later on tonight." I say and she nods.
"I just want you to be with the right person for you." She says and looks over at Colson and I do the same and laugh a little.
"I'm done with dating for now." I smile and she nods and takes my hands.
"I love you okay? I don't want anything bad to you." She says and I smile and hug her.
"Thanks DJ." I smile and we look over to see Ray hug Cameron and he wraps his arms around her and hugs her back.

After we leave DJ's house, we go back to my apartment. Colson grabs his things and decides it's time to go back home to his baby girl, which I didn't blame him. I give him a hug and a chaste kiss on the cheek before sending him on his way. After he leaves I sit on my couch and just scroll through my gallery, deleting all pictures of Calum and I. I was still hurting and those pictures in my phone weren't making anything better.
Around eight twenty Michael texts me back and we have a light conversation, not talking about anything that just happened. I was happy to talk to Michael again. He said he was going to be busy the next few days but soon they were coming back to LA. I smile and was about to send out a text when DJ calls me.
"Hola." I answer and she chuckles.
"I need you to get over here right now! Cameron has a surprise for you!" DJ says and I laugh and got up.
"On my way!' I smile and grabbed my keys and hung up. I jog down the stairs and get to my car and started to drive.
I didn't speed only because I missed the city lights at night. As I cruise through the night listen to some nice relaxing music. As I drive through a green light, a large diesel truck who thought he had the green light takes off and slams right into me and my vision to go black as the impacts causes my car to turn on it's side. I hear car horns and screams before my hearing starts to quiet down, ending with someone yelling 'Call 9-1-1!'
